Dresses

3xsthefun wrote: Ok, I need some help finding a dress to wear to my brothers wedding in May.
I want to find a dress that can be worn more then just one time. I'm hoping to find something that is little on the casual side but yet can be worn to a wedding.

I've looked at a few places but either they don't have my size or they want to much money.

I'm really wanting to find one for under $70 but will pay that much if I find one I really like.

I also need find a place that sale bigger girl dresses, well since I'm a big girl.

If anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it. happy.gif

If I can't find one online I'm thinking about just going to the mall one weekend and look around.

julesmom replied: Have you tried Woman's Dress Barn?

3xsthefun replied: I looked but there is not one close to where I live.

lovemy2 replied: Try Lane Bryant - I like their clothes - very stylish and you can go online too -

AlexsPajamaMama replied: Fashion Bug has nice clothes and they have bigger sizes too

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: I went to Old Navy today and saw a lot of cute spring/summer dresses. And I looked online before I went in the store, so I knew what they had, and I noticed they now carry plus sizes. Could be only online though. GL

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Lane Bryant has some pretty dresses that are under your limit. wink.gif

3xsthefun replied: Thanks ladies for the help! biggrin.gif

I have looked at those places but wanted to see if there was some other places. I guess I will have to check them out again.

Rob doesn't think I should go with black or brown. But I really like the drown dresses. He thinks I should go with navy or green or maybe a pink.

I don't know I think brown would be ok for a wedding? What do you all think?

Jamison'smama replied: What about major department stores---JC Penney's or Kohls?

Kentuckychick replied: When I was looking the other day I thought this one was really pretty and it comes in a variety of different sizes! There are typically coupon codes available.

JcPenney - Black Dress

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I wore brown to a wedding last summer. wink.gif You can always add pink jewelry or a pink scarf. biggrin.gif

3xsthefun replied: Ok, thanks for the again for the help. smile.gif

I checked Kohl's but they only had one in my size and I really dont care for it.

I found a couple that I liked at JCpenny's and Old Navy.

Aimee- that is what I was thinking brown would be ok long has I added some kind of jewerly.

Mommy2BAK replied: Good luck, I think brown would be pretty! I think anything goes, now days! Let us know what you find!

3xsthefun replied: Yeah, I will. I think I'm going go with brown unless I find something else.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: I think brown is great for a wedding. Add pink, pearl, or aqua colors to accesorize. And I prefer nude or bronze colors for shoes (with brown) instead of black. JMO. wink.gif

3xsthefun replied: Thanks Rae, I will have to remember that about the nude/bronze shoes with a brown dress.

Well, I looked at Old Navy again and the dress I really like is not in my size. It is too big. sad.gif So I guess I will wait and see if they get the dress back in my size.

I'm also thinking about going to Cato's this weekend and see if I can find a dress that I like. smile.gif
