I have since added little white straps to help hold up the dresses. I wanted to leave them without it, but I just wasn't comfortable with that since she plays so hard, her dress would be always getting pulled down.

I just adore the ladybug dress, the other is bright and yellow so it's a bit "yellow" for me, but she loves butterflies.
A&A'smommy replied: CUTE!!!! did you buy that material from walmart??? I think I saw some like that there and i thought it was SOO neat and CUTE!!!
stella6979 replied: Those dresses are great! I wish I was able to do stuff like that. Awesome job!
mom2my2cuties replied: Yeap - I got it at Walmart. And I cheated. I didn't even bother getting out a sewing machine. They have this AWESOME stuff called Fabri-Tac that is like super duper glue for fabric that will hold up against most anything (including dry cleaning), I use it for small repairs so I thought I would try it with this dress.
It was something that I figured I could do, and it would get me two dresses for wiggle worm pretty cheap.
amymom replied: Such talent! WOW!!!. They are so cute
Nice job! I wish I could do something like that. And she will remember them always. I still remember some of the dresses my mom made me. Especially the mother daughter matching dresses.

Kaitlin'smom replied: how CUTE! did you use a pattern? Kaitlin LOVES dresses and I would love to make her a few to play around in.
mom2my2cuties replied: No, walmart had this material that you just sew the back seam (or in my case cheat bigtime and Fabritac it) and the sleeves are optional.
Check the $/yard1 bin sections Holley, they usually have the smaller scraps of it over there that people had cut and didn't want..i bet you can find some near the size of Annika.
redplaydoh replied: Those are ADORABLE!!! I love the ladybug one too! Darnit... I need a girl...
