Dr appointment - update

He laughed and said it is on the right side and not a concern at all. So that is fine I guess. i am going for a US (in depth) soon and he said all was well.

So that was a surprise but good appt.

I have never known anyone with cysts before that was preg. does it change anything at all?
I hope you go in for your next ultrasound, and the tech says, no you dont have cysts..and that this dr was wrong...just for peace of mind.

moped replied: Well this was my first appt since the u/s - so they didn't have an opportunity to tell me.

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Jen, are they like ovarian cysts? I know that the ovary plays an important part in the early part of pregnancy before the placenta and stuff starts producing hormones. In some women, that egg follicle remains swollen after it needs to. Usually it's not a problem.

My3LilMonkeys replied: I developed a cyst when I was PG with Madison. It caused no problems at all during the pregnancy. Now it aches when I ovulate on that side, but it's not terrible.

Mommy2Isabella replied: I have them Jen, I had 2 when i was pregnant with Bella ... it doesn't cause a problem unless it blocks the birth canal during delivery most of the time!

Bamamom replied: Don't worry about the cysts - I had them on my left side with Katie Grace. They are normal - just a reaction to all the hormonal changes in your body.

indywndy_04 replied: ohhh poor thing, what a way to find out. I dont know anything about cyst while being pregnant, but sounds like from everyone esle it will be fine.
