Don't Know What's Wrong With me, Wondering - If Any of You can Help

Since I've been to the ER many times with Mental Health related problems I really don't like to go there, you don't get treated so nicely when you have a mental illness. So I would like to hold off going to the ER as long as possible. I don't know what to do. I mean I'm not doubled over in pain, but I'm finding it difficult to manage. Any suggestions or advice would be great!

Or you could have that stomach thing going around I hear its very painful my bosses wife had it and a few of the teachers.

mom21kid2dogs replied: Ugh! Sounds awful! If the pain is really low, could it be an ovarian cyst? Mine always acted up around the time of ovulation, not AF and I had some, but not all, of the same symptoms as you described. If it switches from month to month it might be something to have checked. They are incrediably painful and I got a backache from mine as well as sharp pain where my ovaries are. Just a thought. Sounds too low for gall bladder. If it's aggravated by foods with seeds and nuts, it could be diverticulitis (might be sp wrong~sorry). My Dad has this. It's a chronic condition and I know it's very painful. I think that might be limited to one side, though.

Either way, I hope you feel better. Do you have a family physician who might treat you with a little more respect that you could have check it out?

I agree ~ I'd call your regular doctor and see if you can make an appointment before it gets so bad that you have to go to the ER. I HATE emergancy rooms.

MommyToAshley replied: That sounds painful, I am sorry. My first thought when I read this is that the constipation and gas could be causing a lot of those symptoms. But, if you are in pain, you really should go to see that doc. A family physician would be a good place to start.

DVFlyer replied: Pain in the back that travels down the leg is fairly symptomatic of sciatic pain. Typically, though, a pain killer would take care of it. Usually would only need tylenol or advil type pain killers to knock most of it down.

The abdominal pain could be caused by your gas. Have you tried an antacid? Did the gas etc start after you took the pain killers?

A phone call to you Dr. may be all that is needed. Since they know about all this, just explaining your symptoms could give them enough to go off of where they could offer some treatment or medication options.

Kirstenmumof3 replied: Thanks everyone! I've been out all day, so I just read the responses now. You're all so wonderful. I'm still in a lot of pain and now I have chills and then I start getting sweaty. If this still continues in the morning I am going to go to the Clinic to see the doctor on call. It's mainly in my back now, it feels like someone is pinching me really hard and it's buring. I'm going to take a nice warm bath, warm up the magic bag and see how things are in the morning. I'll let all of you know how it goes.

At first I though the same thing as everyone else but Michelle could be right too I have never had one but I knew someone that did and it sounds like pains your having. I hope its not but I think you should go to the docter ASAP ((((HUGS))) I hope you feel better soon!
