Doggy did it? My child is a wierdo
kit_kats_mom wrote: Is K a freak or are other kids doing this too? She's been saying she's a doggie for the last week. She crawls around, pants and tries to lick us. If you ask her if Katherine wants to eat she says "no" but she says yes if you ask her if doggie is hungry and she will pig out. She asks us to pet doggies head, tells us doggie is thirsty, says doggie wants to go outside etc. The daycare lady just told me that she smelled poop the other day and asked each of the kids if they pooped. K said "no. Doggie did it"...turns out it was K. LOL
Boys r us replied: OMG CARY!!! I'm SO relieved!!!! I actually meant to make a very similar post the other night, but forgot! Braedon does this too..so if K is a freak, then Braedon can be her side show freak!
the other night I was sitting on the couch and heard something in the hallway, but it wasn't footsteps. Before I could get up to check, I saw Brae coming down the hall on all fours, panting and wimpering and letting out a mild bark as soon as he saw me! he always tells me he's a dog and he'll tell me to scratch his belly and pet him.
kit_kats_mom replied: whew! thanks...I was starting to wonder about her
jdkjd replied: For a week, Bailey was a little kitten. We would have to ask if the kitten wanted to get out of the bath....
wierd but didn't last long.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: All 3 of my sisters kids did this. It drove us nuts! I guess it's normal.
5littleladies replied: Brianna has been acting like a kitty. She mews and whines and rubs her head on me, and crawls around on her fours. It's driving me nutso!!!
TANNER'S MOM replied: OMG My Tanner did this always. He was always doing this and we even played with it. He would scratch our legs, and whine until we let him on the furniture..
It was cute..I never will forget one night Tanner was being a Dog and he had pee'd his pants. My Dh said dogs pee outside, and picked him up by his pants and put him out like you would a dog...there was snow on the ground. And Tanner then continued the game by scratching on the door.....It was too funny.
They all do it, some just do a better job at it then others..
kimberley replied: LOL! that is too cute and funny! i think the boys did this too. and Jade has recently taken to barking .
A&A'smommy replied: LOLOL well alyssa not quite as vocal as k but she does walk on all fours sometimes and barks lol. That is halarious though
MommyToAshley replied: LOL! That sounds so funny and cute!!!
Ashley doesn't do this, but it is probably because we don't have any pets.
loveydad replied: Yep been there. The twins did this for like ... 2 or three weeks I swear. It was so annoying! Vincent would KNOCK things over and say "it was da doggy" . Ugggggh!
paradisemommy replied: i have a froggy..LOL..he hops everywhere and yells "ribbit"
Kirstenmumof3 replied: OMG that's too funny! Claudia is going through that right now as well, but if we ask Emily and Spencer if they did something (like eat in our bedroom, spill milk in the living room, hide chocolate wrappers in the furniture) Claudia will either say "Emmy did it!" Or "My did it!" Spencer never seems to do anything wrong though!
DansMom replied: Daniel doesn't really do this... so now, typical worrier, I wonder if he lacks imagination...
MommyToAshley replied: I wouldn't worry about it. I am sure he expresses his imagination in other ways... like his music and playing the drums, for example. Ashley doesn't do that either, and I think she has a great imagination. She is always making up stories to tell us. I wouldn't worry either way, it just shows that our kids are all individuals.
Hmmm, I should be proud of myself because I am usually the Queen of Worry!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Zach does this. Except he's a dinosaur.
He walks around like a sumo and growls....
MomToJade&Jordan replied: Jade hasn't done this to us yet and I'm a bit surprised since my child can be pretty weird. She's too busy dancing around with laundry bag wrapped around her shoulders and making up songs. Thinks she's a diva.
