You caught that huh? Tim when to technical college up there and told me some stories. I guess there are some pretty nasty parts...and it's not THAT big (about 40K people).

Interesting Lima facts:

The jail once housed famed gangster John Dillinger (1933) (he was later broken out of jail by his cohorts)

Was once an oil "boom town" (1885ish) - along w/other towns in the area. Marathon was started as part of this boom and still is in Findlay Ohio (about 40 min away)

They build (or reman or something) the A1 Abrum (I'm sure I spelled that wrong) tanks. (They actually did an episode about that on Mega Structures)

HERE is a link from people that live in Lima talking about the "pros and cons". The biggest con? Not enough jobs. That's what's plaguing West Central Ohio I guess...
