Something about it being good for you and all that I found decaf green tea(gave up soda, tea, coffee 2 years ago) I don't like the taste AT ALL! Is there anything that you do to make it more palatable? I really want to obey Dr. orders but it was NOT yummy! Did I make it wrong? It tasted like weird water Any Ideas welcome
MyLuvBugs replied: I LOVE green tea. I try to drink a glass everyday, but it usually ends up being every other day.
If you don't like the taste, try adding honey to it, or put another type of tea bag in with it like raspberry tea or something to help with the flavor. You also might notice that you're thirstier. Green tea tends to dry out my mouth a bit, but drinking more water is good for ya too.
Jamison'smama replied: Lipton (although not the best green tea from what I hear) makes flavored green tea--raspberry, cherry etc. They have packets that you add to a water bottle. DH drinks green tea every day. Starbucks makes a green tea frapachino that is yummy.
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: Yes I drink green tea. Both Hot and Cold. Lipton makes a really good cold tea and it has a citrus flavor to it. Maybe you could try that.
Boo&BugsMom replied: I was going to suggest what Brenda stated. Lipton has quite a few flavors and they are much better than plain if you ask me. I have also found personally, that I like the cold green tea better than the hot. You can get some in the store by the small frig's by the registers where you by the other small bottles of soda and water.
amymom replied: Here is some things my brother discovered about green tea brewing:
1. Make sure water is boiling --rolling boil. No microwave water. 2. Put tea bag in cup first then pour water over tea bag. He uses Lipton decaf teabags. 3. Brew for Exactly 3 mins. We set a timer. 4. Remove tea bag by dipping a couple of times and then DO NOT squeeze the bag. Just pick the bag out and toss. 5. My brother adds honey.
This method really makes the tea more palatable, less bitter, I drink one cup of green tea a day as often as I can, but I still like my black tea!!!
Let me know if any of that helps.
Calimama replied: Try Green tea with raspberry or peach. It's yummy cold or hot.
gr33n3y3z replied: Katie and I drink green tea all the time the others hate it Turkey Hill makes a good one

Bee_Kay replied: Ashley drinks Lipton citrus green tea
A&A'smommy replied: I boil my water and then let the tea bag sit in the cup for a while a GOOD while, and then making sure its still hott and tons of honey YUMMY I love green tea
Our Lil' Family replied: I drink this kind as well, occasionally.
punkeemunkee'smom replied: Thanks for the pic Naomi!
Thank you for the suggestions everyone I noticed alot of you suggest honey-I will try that because I used just lemon (trying to stay away from tons of sugar) so maybe that will improve the taste as well
Our Lil' Family replied: I'm a visual kind of person so I figured that might help you next time you are in the store!
Brias3 replied: Arizona Iced Tea has a really good green tea drink- its with ginseng and honey. I could drink that stuff all day!
