Does anyone?

3xsthefun wrote: Know of a good styling product. I mean like mousse, hair spray, or something like that? I'm wanting to find a good one that won't make my hair to stiff. My hair is also frizzy would like find something controls that some too.

I'm going to Wal Mart later on today and would like to know what to look for?

Ugh...could one of the mods change my title to "Does Anyone?"

BabyOwen427 replied: I use Pantene Intensive Restoration Treatment. It is a heavy conditioner, I use it about twice a month in the summer and once a week in the winter. I have frizzy hair too and that makes it a little bit heaver which tames the frizz. It also adds shine and repairs the split ends and controls the static in the winter. I think it says to leave on for 3-5 minutes but I usually put it in at the begining of my shower and rinse it last which usually means it is in for 10 minutes or so. I love the stuff.
Enjoy shopping!

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: I have great luck with Frizz Ease Products. The serum was a life saver in HS when my hair was super Frizy/curly. Now the frizz is much more controllable and I love teh Curling spray...It also works on frizz but not as strong as the serum

3xsthefun replied: Thanks to you both. smile.gif

I've actually thought about buying the Frizz Ease stuff before, but not sure how it would work on my hair. I might try it.

Is the Pantene Intensive Restoration Treatment, something new? If not I think I've already tried it. There is one Pantene product I tried and it didn't work to well.

BabyOwen427 replied: The pantene is kinda new, I found it just a couple of years ago. I don't know exactly when they started making it.

3xsthefun replied: Oh, ok. I think it is the same one I tried then. I don't seem have very good luck with Pantene products, they seem to dry out my hair for some reason. blink.gif

mckayleesmom replied: I have super frizzy hair too and besides the Friz Ease stuff.....I like the new Aussie frizz gel too.....Its light and it works pretty good when you use it when your hair is still wet.

coasterqueen replied: Silk. I think that's what it is called. It comes in a white-ish creme bottle with black lid and lettering. I know you can get it in hair cutting places INSIDE Walmart, but don't know if Walmart sells it. That stuff works awesome on Kylie's frizzy curly hair. You only need a very very tiny drop of it too, so the bottle goes a long way.

Hillbilly Housewife replied: In all honesty Tina I use Herbal Essences Conditionner as a Gel. It's cheap, it smells really good, and it doesn't get all stiff. And, if I need to fix my hair for some reason, I just need to wet my fingers and do-over the strand I need to do-over.

I have really really frizzy hair, and honestly it's the only thing that works for me.

Also the only shampoo/conditionner that I can use that doesn't get my hair worse is the cheap Walmart stuff in a green bottle. I don't remember the name right now, but it's papaya scented and has a koala on the bottle. tongue.gif

mckayleesmom replied:
That stuff is awesome....I can never find it anywhere though.

coasterqueen replied:
I found it at the salon in the super Walmart here. I also believe I saw it at Target right by the Biolage and obviously salons have it.

A&A'smommy replied: I like gel I can't remember the brand name but they usually have a huge selection of hair gel anyway just don't use to much and it wont make your hair stiff, I use it for frizzyness and to style

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I like to use spray gel (Aussie used to make a good one, but I haven't seen it lately). I just spray it on my hands and scrunch it in my dry hair. I have super frizzy hair too, but it's really fine and thin. Aussie also make a "Tizz No Frizz" gel that is really good. thumb.gif

Just keep experimenting...you'll find something that works for you.

TANNER'S MOM replied: I have really curly hair too and I like the Suave Smoothing Creme.. I use it when I wear my curly and straightened. I love it. it's cheap too. I am a product junkie and I have bought tons of expensive stuff and I like this Sauve stuff the best as far as something like Gel that doesn't leave my hair sticky. I can still run my fingers thru my hair after using it.

mckayleesmom replied:
That is the stuff I have.....Tiz no Friz or whatever....it comes in different kinds...I have the flexible kind that is not so stiff.

3xsthefun replied: Thanks for all of the suggestions. But I went ahead and bought Frizz Ease Rehyrdate Conditioner. If it don't work I will try one of the others that was suggested.

coasterqueen replied:
I hope it works for you. thumb.gif

3xsthefun replied: I hope it works also. I used it yesterday and smells pretty good. Kind of smelled like the stuff the lady at the salon put in my hair after she washed it.

coasterqueen replied:
BTW, what cut did you go with? Got any pics? biggrin.gif

3xsthefun replied: I ended up getting long layers. It actually made my hair more curly so you can't really tell I have layers.

I don't have any pictures. I am big fat cow and hate showing pictures of myself. sleep.gif

coasterqueen replied:
Oh don't be like that. You are beautiful!!! I bet your hair looks gorgeous. You really don't give yourself enough credit. hug.gif hug.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied:
You really don't give yourself enough credit Tina - I've seen your picture - and you look so pretty!!!!
