Do your kids wake up - Happy or Grumpy

Mckaylee.....85% of the time she is grumpy and has alot of attitude when she first wakes up. Then there is the other 15% of the time where she gets up chipper and tells everyone "good morning" and goes on her merry way. I usually tell her to get happy or she has to go back to bed until she wakes up on the right side.

Boo&BugsMom replied: Tanner is the most grumpy waker upper ever. Neither him or I are morning people. Same with naps. It takes him awhile to wake up and be cheery. Oddly enough, the only mornings he is happy is on Christmas morning...I wonder why.

Sometimes Kellie suprises me by waking up as if she had a a caffiene jolt, happy as can be. 99% of the time, when I do not have to wake her up, she wakes me up by asking for something to drink. Like this morning when we all overslept, and C missed school.

Christian during the week wakes up tired, then becomes awake. She has to get up between 5:30 & 6 in the morn, and she is not one to wake up voluntarily that early. So she is tired. But on Sat when she wakes up on her own, unless we have something to do where I have to get her up, she is happy but quiet.

coasterqueen replied: If they are not woken up they wake up very happy. If we have to wake them it's usually grumpy.

Kylie is DEFINITELY a morning person like me. Megan is so-so. She can obviously get up early, I do know that, but when she wakes up it's a bit slower than her sister who jumps out of bed at mock speed like she's been chained to the bed for years.

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Andrew is usually in a really good mood in the mornings... AFTER he's had a few minutes sitting on my lap to wake up. He doesn't play in his crib when he wakes up either - I wish he would. He just cries right away.

Calimama replied: She wakes up grumpy for me and in the best mood ever for Daddy.. so it depends on who gets her up. I swear he must carry around some sort of fairy dust. I have never seen a child so into their father.

ediep replied: Jasonusually wakes up happy. When he was younger he would wake up grumpy from naps a lot of the time, but now that he rarely naps, we don't have that problem

jacobsmama replied: Depends on when Jacob wakes up. If too early yes grumpy but most of the time smiley and proud that he slept all night in his big boy bed!

martzfam27 replied: During the week Lucas usually wakes up tired and grumpy but wakes up after a few minutes. If he wakes up on his own like on the weekends he's usually pretty happy

Hillbilly Housewife replied: The kdis usually wake up before me and dh... and usually they climb into our bed and get dh to put on some cartoons on our bedroom tv, and they stay quiet and cuddle with us until we're ready to talk to them... lol then we all cuddle in the bed. We're usually all in a good mood when we wake up.

If, however, I have to get out of bed before being fully awake, I'm in a horrible mood and I don't want to talk to anybody for an hour.

Zach, if he naps in the afternoon and I wake him up, he'll be a little grumpy, same with Emilie. But I think everybody''s grumpy if awakened.
