Do you think this is safe?

That was not a concern for us since we've taken the necessary precautions regarding the window, but we did also put a body pillow up against that wall so she wouldn't roll over and hit her head in the wall.
Well, for some odd reason she likes to sleep up on the body pillow. When she's *seriously* ready to go to sleep she gets up on the pillow and goes to sleep and spends most of the night on it. Do you think that's safe? She's been doing it for a few months now, but I started to wonder.
Here's a few pics of her on it. Please pardon the bed clothes that don't match. We haven't gotten her ones that match her room yet, we just used ones we already had. Oh and I noticed when I took the pic of her this morning that one of her pj buttons were undone and she acquired a purple stain on them, ROFL. Don't know where that came from. I took this pics this morning before she woke up and right after she woke up.
This was when she was still asleep.

This was her smiling in her sleep.

Right after she woke up.

Another one after she woke up. Wild hair!
kimberley replied: awww she is so cute!!! i love those sleeping smiles! i think she should be okay with the body pillow. Jacob used to do that all the time.
amynicole21 replied: Awww! She is a little sleeping beauty
I don't think it would be a problem for her to sleep on the pillow. She is old enough that she would be able to re-adjust in her sleep if her nose got pushed into the pillow somehow.
jem0622 replied: I think that she is old enough and since she is sleeping on it and not ending up underneath of it then I'd say it's okay. Just my two cents...I think you have too many covers for her though. I tend to dress the boys in PJ pants (we have the a/c on) and socks and don't use lots of covers. They end up out of them anyways! LOL
paradisemommy replied: i think that's perfectly fine..taven always jumps onto our pillows too!!
kylie is so cute!!!
coasterqueen replied: LOL Julie! Those covers are for me. she won't sleep with any covers. If I put them on her she kicks them off. I have to have the ceiling fan on for her so she won't sweat all over, but I on the other hand FREEZE.
Kaitlin'smom replied: awww how cute! I think at this age she is fine, sometimes I wonder how the heck they sleep like they do.
A&A'smommy replied: AWWWW LOL she is SOOO cute! I LOVE that hair!!!
DansMom replied: She's so darn cute!!! I love that look they have when they just woke up. Cracks me up every time.
Daniel climbs up onto a regular pillow and sleeps along the length of it. If he wakes up and he's not on it, he'll climb right up in his sleep and settle back down. Pretty cute. At this point, I don't feel too worried about him while he sleeps. Now I have a heartattack when he's climbing the playstructure at the local park. Yikes.
ediep replied: She sure is cute!!! I love seeing photos of everyones kiddies!!!
I think its safe, especially if you are there sleeping with her
3_call_me_mama replied: Cameron is a big fan of sleeping onthe body pillow like that too, I would say she's fine especially since she can move about freely to get herself up if needed.
MommyToAshley replied: I think she is sooo darn cute!!!! I love the wild hair pictures.
I have read they are old enough at this age for a pillow... I need to get one for Ashley. I read about toddler pillows but I haven't shopped for one yet but it's on the list. The one thing that I would make sure is that she can't fall between the bed and the wall.... I've heard about babies (a lot younder than Kylie though) falling between the bed and wall and getting stuck.
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Awwww that's so sweet! I wouldn't worry about the pillow, she's just sleeping on top of it.
jcc64 replied: She's old enough for a pillow now, I wouldn't worry about it! So cute, btw- love the bedhead!
coasterqueen replied: Thanks everyone. I figured it was safe, but I find it very strange that she sleeps on it, lol. Glad to hear someone else has a child like that. She used to sleep with her head on a regular pillow, so I knew that was normal, but wasn't for sure about the whole body. Strange kid, lol.
Thanks for all the compliments. I love the bedhead too .
