Do you pee in the shower?

I was lucky enough when I got stung by a jellyfish to be about 20 yards from our beach house where we had a bottle of vinegar so I did not have to pee on myself or have anyone pee on me (THANK GOD!) but supposedly it does take the sting out. The vinegar worked too.

All I know is that dang thing hurt!

I thought the same thing. I remember the Pedi telling my mom to have my little brother TT on his feet because he had Althete's feet and it would help clear it up. Guess it has many uses.

I was just going to mention the Athlete's Foot. Dh told me that when he was in the Marine Corp there was a guy who was ALWAYS peeing on his feet, for that very reason.

Matt Lauer asked him what the most frequent secret he recieves is and he said people who pee in the shower. I was laughing out loud that this was someone's deepest darkest secret Guess I figured everyone does it!!!

OK...I have done it, but I don't make a habit of it, especially when preggers and realize I have to pee after I've gotten in the shower, gotten soaken wet and don't feel like climbing my preggo butt out of the shower to sit on the toilet (possibly fall in because my butt is wet, get the floor soaked in the process) and then climb back in.

yes, I've peed in the shower, and still occasionally do. I learned quick to squat. And I have a handheld shower head.

It's sterile, anyways.

(just FYI - I woulnd't do this at someone else's house)

And if it runs down your legs, it shouldn't for long...I mean, you're standing in running water

I pee in the shower! Always have - for some reason when the water turns on and I get in, I suddenly have to pee! I've tried the whole getting out to pee on teh toilet, it's too messy and I'm so accident prone, I'd undoubtedly fall on my butt and break my tailbone (well not now because I already did that a few weeks ago) but yes, I will openly admit: I AM A PROUD SHOWER PEE-ER!!!!

Danalana replied: Well, I make the decision to do it based on how badly I have to pee. If I have to go really bad, I just do it. It's worse in pregnancy because the urge can come quickly (as most of you know). I'm sure as heck not gonna suffer...or get out of the shower, dripping wet, to use the toilet.

I usually pee before going in the shower but if I suddenly have to go after getting in I just do it in there. I don't want to turn off the water, dry off and all that just to pee. And I've tried sitting on the toilet with a wet hiney before (at the beach) and I slide off. So I just stay in there. It's safer and requires less energy.

...unless you're about to get out of the tub OK, you guys know my dirty little secret. If I'm literally about to get out and dry off, I will pee in the tub too!

Oh and Jackie, I'm so accident prone too, I always slip when my feet are wet, so it is much easier. I usually have to pee once the warm water hits me if I haven't went yet, which usually I do but on those rare occassions I haven't went and when I was preggers (I'd pee and then pee again 2 minutes later anyways)...yep I was one of those shower pee-ers too!
