Do you like Rollercoasters?

CAMSMOM1 wrote: Oh I love em! redbounce.gif We live about 3 hrs from Six Flags, and DH & I used to go all the time, or I would go with my sister.

We love the Riddler, any ride that goes upside down is the best! laugh.gif And on Halloween, the make the rides go backwards, now that's cool! cool.gif

Do you like rollarcoasters? What's your favorite amusement park?

PrairieMom replied: I hate hate hate them. i get super sick on rides for starters, but my main fear is dying. I am so sure that I am going to go flying off into the atmosphere if I ride one of those things.
We don't have an amusement park around here, so any ride that comes is a traveling carnaval, so there is NO WAY you would ever get me onto any of those rides. (i'm a total spaz that way!) laugh.gif

kayla's mama replied: I love 'em. I used to live an hour from Six Flags, and we would go all the time. My favorite is the Boss it is super fast biggrin.gif

MamaJAM replied: I used to love roller coasters...the more loops - the better. But...I get queasy on many rides I used to enjoy - so I haven't attempted a coaster in years.

gr33n3y3z replied: I love the old wood ones
Upside down naaa you have those

aspenblue1 replied: I love them. I grew up an still live around Kings Island.

My3LilMonkeys replied: Love em.

Cedar Point is the best amusement park - most roller coasters in one location in the world (or at least it was 4 years ago - I haven't really kept up lately).

I can't wait to hit the 6 Flags in Jersey - hopefully this summer - tallest fastest coaster in the world!!!!! And it's only about 4 hours from my house. biggrin.gif

As for favorite coaster, the Pheonix. It's an old wooden coaster at Knoebels, a small amusement park near my house. But to get the best ride you have to go right before they close so the track has had all day to warm up and it really flys.

3xsthefun replied: Never been on one, and don't plan on ever being one either. Just looking at them scares me. blush.gif

DH he loves them! When we went to Dollywood last year, DH and his sister got on all of them.

mckayleesmom replied: LOVE THEM ALL....too hard to choose a favorite.

mom21kid2dogs replied: Love 'em. I used to get paid to test ride them at Cedar Point ~I thought it was my dream job~riding roller coasters 8-10 hours a day!! I was actually employed as a lifeguard there but I had an early contract so I got to test ride the coasters until we could start getting the beach & pools open for the season.

I love the Blue Streak! You go flying out of your seat 'cause all you have is that little belt. SO MUCH FUN!! Next is the front seat on the Magnum. Too much fun! thumb.gif

5littleladies replied: Love 'em! My favorites are old wood ones-no etter thrill factor than feeling that your life may be on the line tongue.gif and the ones that hang from the track. biggrin.gif

Unfortunately, dh has developed motion sickness over the past few years so we haven't gone anywhere recently. sad.gif

1lilpeanut2love replied: My SO and I both hate, hate, hate rollercoaster. They are so, so, so scary!! My favorite amusement park though is Kings Dominion located in Dowell, Virginia.

~~*Missi*~~ replied: I love them SOOOOO much. We have been planning a trip to Cedar Point Ohio for two years now and everytime I am pregnant LOL so we have had to cancel.
Cedar Point has the biggest fastest and most coaster in the USA i believe and its still a private owned amusement park last I knew.
This year we are planning again so we shall see if I get pregnant once again cancel city LOL

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: I love Rollercoasters. But I don't live very close to any theme park that has really good ones. Aaron and I went to Kings Island in Ohio a few years back (okay, probably more like 6 years). That was one of the best coaster parks I have ever been to.

My3LilMonkeys replied:
Just a note - they have been beaten out for tallest fastest by a new roller coaster at 6 Flags in Jersey.

As far as I know they still have the most though.

Edward's Mommy replied:
I'm the same way. You couldn't give me a million dollars to do it!!!

luvmykids replied: I used to loooove them, but now I'm old and chicken. I don't know if I still would or not but DH is terrified of them (yes, big bad cowboy won't even get on a ferris wheel!) so I haven't had to decide if I still do or not. Guess I'll find out when the kids are big enough to dare me!

jcc64 replied: LOVE LOVE LOVE them! We're regulars at Great Adventure in Jersey, where the biggest fastest coaster just opened last summer. Because the wait was in the 6hr range and the ride was constantly breaking down, I deferred that one until this summer. And I disagree about the old wooden ones- they hurt my boobs too much (and I'm only a B cup rolling_smile.gif ). Give me a nice new metal coaster with lots of loops and no floor so I can go in bare feet- closest thing to flying, imo! Can't wait for summer!

luvbug00 replied: virdigo ...need I say more??? emlaugh.gif

Sarah&Mackenzie replied: LOVE rollercoasters!!! We live about 2 hours away from six flags great america. Haven't been there for a couple of years, but my favorite ride is the Giant Drop!!!
