Do you let your kids put sugar - in their cereal???

Mckaylee and Russell don't because they never have realized that other kids do. They eat it the way it is. When we were at my moms this summer I had to pray that they didn't notice that Timmy sprinkled his with sugar or else they would want it too.
sparkys2boys replied: If it is plain bland cereal like you said I will let them but I do it for them and they mau get a 1/4 of a teaspoon on it. Not enough to even bother with to be honest but it makes them think it tastes better so be it
My3LilMonkeys replied: My kids won't eat cereal with milk, so it's never even been a consideration.
stella6979 replied: Nope.
mckayleesmom replied: Mckaylee won't let me put milk in hers either.....she has it on the side in a cup...
Crystalina replied: Cherios are the blandest I buy and I think they are sweet enough.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Nope. If I were to sweeten cereal, I would use real maple syrup.
PrairieMom replied: no way. I jump through hoops to keep refined sugars out of their diets. I keep it on hand for me tho. Do as I say, NOT as I do.
Brias3 replied: Heck no- they never have done this and never will!
My FIL does this to his cereal and I always hope the kids don't notice when they are over there spending the night
CantWait replied: Nope, not at all.
Calimama replied: No. Like I said in the other thread we put fresh fruit in hers, so it gives it the natural sugar.
luvmykids replied: Same here, cheerios always get a banana or strawberries in them.
A&A'smommy replied: nope I do not!!
gr33n3y3z replied: When they were little no But when they got older sure why not especially that bland stuff
