Do you keep a journal?
Nina J wrote: Do you keep a journal? I've kept one since I was 14, I've still got nearly all of them, except I've lost a few. I was reading my first one, and all I talked about was how much I hated school and all of the boys I liked.
MamaJAM replied: I kpt a journal in high school. I also kept a journal while preg with babies 2-5 (I REALLY wish someone had suggested it when I was preg with my first.....I wish I had more from that time in my life). I've tried keeping one since DS#2 was born....but I just never think to write in it.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: I do, but I hardly ever write in it. My mom started us on keeping journals when we were kids, but I have never been good at keeping up with it.
Heather77 replied: I used to when I was younger. Now I have a couple of online ones. My xanga I rarely post in anymore and I've never posted in my Myspace... I just like read everyone else's .
ilovemybaby replied: Yes.
MiniMommy replied: Yep, since I was 5!
ashtonsmama replied: Wow-that's really young to be writing in a journal! How awesome-
I kept one throughout my whole PG with Ashton, I started doing one online but haven't kept up with it too much, I wish I could more...I love reading what I've written, it's fun to see how things have changed in my life.
I also kept one pretty religously in HS, but I think they're at my parent's house now...
Edward's Mommy replied: I have since I could write and I still have one. I have a personal journal and I have a journal that I write to Edward in. I plan to give Edward the journal when he's either a father or when I feel he's old enough to appreciate the sentiment of it.
MiniMommy replied: I've done one since I could write!
CAMSMOM1 replied:
I had a few in Elementary/Jr. High school. It's so funny looking back at what I wrote. All the things I thought was "drama" back then, seems so hilarious now! I liked a new boy every week!
I started up again when I found out I was pg. I'm glad I did, it really helped me with all the emotions of pg, the birth, Cam as a newborn, and so on. I haven't written in it for months, so thanks for the reminder. I need to keep up on it. I'm planning on giving it to Cam when he is older, hopefully he'll appreciate it. I wish my Mom did that for me, during her prg and my early years. But she kept a great baby book for me.
MM'sMama replied: I did when I was younger, and I did during both PG and I still do for the kids.
CantWait replied: I don't anymore, but I do have a few from when I was in highschool. Yes it is funny how much I wrote about how much I loved this boy etc
luvmykids replied: It still cracks me up to read them from high school! I wish I was better about it nowadays, I usually only do it now when I'm upset and need an outlet where I can be 100% honest about my feelings. But I need to start doing it more.
