We went out tonight and got dessert it was such a treat. We never get it but it was Oh so good. We went to a place called Smokey Bones and they have the best hot donuts in cinnamon with a strawberry dipping sauce....they are to die for

C&K*s Mommie replied: Sometimes we do. The last time Chris and I went out, we ordered two desserts, because we wanted to try one but the server highly recco'd another. So we had both. The strawberry shortcake one was not good at all. Or not to me, since I am not a big fan of biscuits often. But the sweetpotato bread pudding with pecans... OMG!! That was delicious!!

Smokey Bones, they built one here and we have been meaning to try it. And they had one in Tallahassee, that everyone far and wide raved about. We really need to try it now.

They are soooo good. You def need to get the chicken nacho's and if you love ribs this is the place to get them. I don't eat pork but OMGoodness these are good ribs. They don't even taste porky, kwim!!!! You've gotta try'em.

holley79 replied: We have Smokey Bones here. I very rarely get dessert when we go out. I'm always too full by the end of our meal. There are times though that I will order a small appetizer for dinner and dessert.

I usually get dessert - especially now that Sophia can help me eat it. DH never eats dessert (but he'll have a donut or two at SB )

As far as going out to a resturant to eat out. We hardly ever to get a dessert.

salmndr007 replied: We have a Smokey Bones here. It is alright...I didn't like it too much for some reason. I don't know...may have been the waitress. I think she was having a bad day or something and it took forever for us to get our food. Anyway...to answer your question. We usually don't get desert, but when we do, we go all out and order like 3 or 4, eat some of them and then take the rest home for desert the next night.

but we rarely get desert...if we do we normally get 2. share one there and one the next night.....dont eat too much sweets out...can get that at home. lol

If we go to Governors Restuarant I sometimes will get dessert. My dad used to take us there alot when I was in highschool.

We don't have Smokey Bones here, but maybe next time we are up that way we will stop and eat

No, I don't normally get dessert. Occasionally Dh and I will split one though.

Brias3 replied: We usually don't just because we're full. Certain places we will make room though The kids usually are allowed a treat if they have a kid friendly dessert and they have behaved/eaten well.

mile high mud pie... it has chocolate flav icecream, pb falvour icecream, coffee flavor icecream, with cookie crust, fudge drizzled on top and with whip cream as well... OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I craved it during pg w/Kylie but not much since. I think it's too thick of a meal. Although I do LOVE their donuts.

I usually only get dessert if we are going to a fancy restaurant. Sometimes we'll get one when we are out somewhere else but it's very rare.
