Do you ever get snarky on your FB status?
CantWait wrote: For example, today mine status says.... had a great afternoon out with her hubby on his HARD EARNED DAY OFF, compensation for all the overtime he puts in.
This is in response to people at dh's work complaining that he's taken so many days off during the week.....(people on my friends list, or at least their dh's).
My dh is only mandated to work 9-5 or 8-5 and he's entitled to an hour during that time to work out (since he's military still), plus lunch. Because of dh's job though, he always has to work overtime, sometimes 10 at night or later, sometimes weekends.
What I don't get, is that people will tell me to my face that "oh he's working late again", but than go behind his back and complain that he's taking time off for it.
So I had to get a little dig in.
Do you ever try to get your point across to people on your friends list when the pis* you off via your status?
moped replied: Quite often i do that Marie - I think we all do!
A&A'smommy replied: I want to but don't always get too.... especially when i want to make a point!!
Our Lil' Family replied: Oh I'm so guilty of this....it's a way to vent my frustration at those I can't directly say it to!
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Never. But, it is soooo tempting!
I'm just so afraid of hurting someone's feelings. I think I'd rather just tell the person privately than make a bunch of other people wonder if I'm referring to them.
Then again, I would never condemn another for their husband taking time off, either. That's just flat out no one else's business.
Mommy2Isabella replied: All the time
My3LilMonkeys replied: I'm the same way - always afraid of hurting other people's feelings.
CantWait replied: You are better than I.
I am sooo past the point of hurting some people's feelings.
Calimama replied: Eh not really. I don't really post important stuff on there. Mostly frivolous fun stuff.
My2Beauties replied: Yes I have and my friends always comment on my statuses and make them 10x worse! LOL!
luvbug00 replied: ALL THE TIME..LOL I have no problem saying much of anything. I wont let out privite stuff but the minor gripes and groans about work and such.. yup.
msoulz replied: Me too. I have a couple of my son's friends who are my facebook friends (their request, not mine) so I am very careful what I post.
Danalana replied: I haven't done it, but I can testify that a lot of people do. Haha, I think some people use Facebook MOSTLY for that
bluebear replied: I save a lot of that stuff for Twitter. Don't forget you can restrict certain people from seeing Facebook statuses.
