Do you ever forget how "old" you are?

I keep thinking I'm younger.
That's like my sister who was talking about this friend who is "older"....she's in her mid 30's. Ha! My sis is 32!!!

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Lol... I'm 24 and I forget my age. I have to sit and think about it and figure it out going by how old someone else is or how many years it's been since a certain event.
And then there are the times when I think I'm only 18 ... sometimes when people ask how old I am I get half way through telling them I'm 18 before I realize that I'm not.

ediep replied: well, I'm 30, so I guess its easy to remember....but if someone asks me and catches me off guard, I'd say I'm 24....don't know why...I guess I'm stuck in that year for some reason

It's funny...28 must be a magic number. My sister was asked how old she was once (when she was 30) and she said 28. Of course her son speaks up and said "no you're not, your 30".

texasp3 replied: I keep waiting to feel like a grown up. LOL! I'm not sure what I'm waiting for... I'll be 40 in another year and four months (whose counting??)!! Since I had Michael at 22, I was always a young mom, especially in the last area we lived in which was very affluent and where most of the parents were "older" parents. Now, with Gabriel... I realize that I'M going to be the gray haired lady sitting at back to school night!
