Do you buy things because they're on sale? - spin off from mckaylee's mom's shampoo

I went nuts once at CostCo... reviewing my bill about a month later when I put it in our file system, I realized I'd spent about 250$ on "stuff" that was on sale...and was never even used.

Now, the only stuff I buy because it's on sale, is things that I normally buy, I just stock up on cheaper, out of season clothes for the kids for next year, or gifts off my master list.

Do you purchase items just because they're on sale?

luvmykids replied: The only time I really do that is with clothes for the kids but that's even rare. I love my grocery store b/c they always have sales AND it's the stuff I was going to buy anyway

sparkys2boys replied: I will stock up on things like toothpaste, toilet paper, laundry soap etc if it is on a really good sale because I know these itmes will get used sooner or later but I don't go nuts with it and if I see I have alot of one item I wont buy more til its getting low again.

lisar replied: I dont buy things just because they are on sale. But if it is something I use ALL the time and its on sale then I will buy more for that reason. Does that make sense.

Calimama replied: Only clothes... especially for Miabella. She doesn't need anymore for awhile but I found some on sale I buy them.

Cece00 replied: I will, for certain things I know I will use...food, toiletries, kids clothing, toys...I never buy anything I might not use just b/c its on sale.
