Do you Talk and Drive?

jacobsmama wrote: Loren is always yelling at me for talking on the cell phone and driving. blush.gif I try not to but seems to be best time to get little things done I need too. blush.gif I know very bad but hey I'm noticing how much I do it and cutting back.

Do you guys talk and drive? unsure.gif

MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Yes, but not all the time and not even that often. Just once in a while and never when Logan's with me.

ediep replied: sure, sometimes

ions_momma replied: Yes all the time blush.gif

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: Yes. Sometimes I will use the super fancy earpiece that dh got me...sometimes I don't. I have also gotten in the habit of texting at red lights.

jacobsmama replied:
at least you only text at redlights blush.gif

3xsthefun replied: I have sometimes, but not very often, usually only if someone calls me.

luvbug00 replied: yeah i do.

My3LilMonkeys replied: Rarely but I do.

luvmykids replied: I have a wireless thingy I use in the car, I know the talking itself can be a distraction but at least I'm not trying to deal with the phone itself too blush.gif

MamaJAM replied: We have OnStar in both our vehicles....if I need to talk to someone while I'm driving - I use that (press one easy to reach button and every other step is voice-activated).
If I need to use my cell phone I pull into a parking lot.

C&K*s Mommie replied: When I happen to talk on the cell, and drive, I use the speakerphone option. But I am not on the phone enough to validate using anything else like a bluetooth like Chris uses.

ashtonsmama replied: I try not to as much as possible, since I know it is very dangerous...but sometimes, ITA agree with you, it's helpful to have that time to make calls and such...

kayla's mama replied: We are known to talk and drive unsure.gif But we use the ear piece so the phone is not in our face and we are using both hands on the wheel....well sometimes.

MiniMomy replied: Sometimes, but I do.

ilovemybaby replied: I don't drive. But if I did I wouldn't want to be talking on my cellphone and driving at the same time. I am scared enough of it I would want to be concentrating fully on just driving LOL
Paul does it and I hate it. He used to have a Bluetooth so he could wear that and talk on his phone without having to be holding it. Which is way safer. But it is broken now. sad.gif
He will even try to text while driving. I really wish he'd stop doing it.
Sometimes he gives the phone to me to do it for him. But mostly he does it himself. mad.gif

ilovemybaby replied: I think talking by speaker phone or blue tooth is fine. I mean, how many times are we talking to our kids/partners while driving?
I just don't want to try to hold a phone while driving. Both hands on the wheel! blush.gif

luvmykids replied:
thats what I have ... I couldn't think of the name for my ''wireless thingy" rolleyes.gif

Brias3 replied: I use the Bluetooth now but before I had it, I did talk on the phone quite a bit. I really try not to, especially since most of the time I have the kids in the car, but I end up sometimes ONLY having time for a call when I'm on the road to somewhere. I never text or do anything else though- that's way distracting for me personally.

Nina J replied: I never do. If someone rings me while I'm driving I either don't answer it, or I pull over if I was expecting an important call. I just freak out and don't want to crash or anything.

MM'sMama replied: I try not to but I admit I have before. blush.gif

PrairieMom replied: yup. blush.gif

holley79 replied: Mainly on my way to work when Annika isn't with me. It's kind of the only time I get to talk to anyone. LOL. Then again it takes me an hour to get to work because of traffic. UGG. I'm sitting still anyway might as well make the best of it. rolling_smile.gif
