Do You Make Your Bed - everyday?
TheOaf66 wrote: See this is an area that my wife and I actually agree on, we're just gonna sleep in it again so we don't bother. The only time we do is if company is coming and there is a chance that they might see the room.
PrairieMom replied: I do. It just maked the toom look better, and it only takes a second.
mckayleesmom replied: No
1lilpeanut2love replied: NO!! I hardly ever make it. The only time I really make it is when someone is coming over!!
C&K*s Mommie replied: Not everyday, but a couple times a week- I do.
TheOaf66 replied: the only other time it gets made is when we change the sheets.
BAC'sMom replied: no
Our Lil' Family replied: Yep, it makes me feel better to walk into my room if it's made.
luvbug00 replied: NO I'm far to lazy and I'm messing up in less then 16 hours anyway..
lisar replied: I make my bed once a week and thats after I wash the sheets and the comforter. Thats it. I am like you I am just gona get back in it that night. And when company comes over my bedroom door gets locked. Mainly because we all have small kids and the guns and everything are in my room.
AlexsPajamaMama replied: No...but only because when I get up in the morning DH is going to bed for the day after working all night. And when he gets up its dinner time-ish and I will be getting into bed soon. I make it when I change the sheets though.
When I was a teenager I would make it every night before I got into bed so it was "organized" and comfy!!
JP&KJMOM replied: Nope never. When I wash the sheets I put them on right before I go to bed.
~~*Missi*~~ replied: i make it as soon as we are out of it. and i make sabrina's also..... soon i will teach her to make her bed hehehehehe
MomtoPate replied: No, not really...I usually just pull the comfortor back up to the top and throw my pillows on top, but I don't take the time to actually fix the sheets underneath or anything....I am like you, I am just going to get right back into it, so why bother?
gr33n3y3z replied: Not me either bc your just going to climb right back in it again so why bother
A&A'smommy replied: well i use to but my dh use to complain about it all the time so I quit doing it
5littleladies replied: I don't usually make it in the morning (If I had a spare second I probably would though ), but I have to make it before I get in it at night. I hate getting into an unmade bed. It's one of my idiosyncrasies I guess.
kayla's mama replied: Nope I don't make my bed, only when I change the sheets. But I will kinda make it before I get into bed. If I don't I can't sleep well so really I should take the time and just make it in the morning since I am technically making it before I get into bed....hmmm
Lynda836 replied: We never make the bed. I don't think it's that important...it's just going to be messed up everynight anyway.
MichaelsMommy replied: hell no It's hard enough to get out of it in the morning let alone make it
Kaitlin'smom replied: yes and no. I streighten out my covers but DH does not. We hardly ever put the bedspread/comfortor on it.
jcc64 replied: Absolutely not. Two bona fide slobs here.
J-rod replied: never make it. steph will make it in the evening. but i ahte it. first thing i do when i get in is trash it and make it messy (comfortable) i sleep with one leg uncovered.
Geoff replied: For the most part no. When we clean up the room then yes
CantWait replied: Pretty much make it when I'm about to go back to bed again Or when company comes over. Otherwise no, things might change in the new house though.
luvmykids replied: I don't know why I don't, I like the look of it being made and it feels better to me to get into a bed thats been made, but nope, not usually. In the old days it was because DH was still in it but these days it's because once I leave my room in the morning it's usually not until bedtime that I'm in there again.
TheOaf66 replied: well it seems to be a toss up between making it or not, it seems to be a matter of personal preference.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: YES, everyday! I read somewhere that your day will go much better, meaning you will feel more organized and put together, as long as you make your bed. Silly, I know, but I live by it. If my bed isn't made, I don't feel all together for the day!
holley79 replied: I feel the same way.
DH on the other hand makes the bed when I'm not in it. I think he still thinks he is going to be inspected. LOL
3xsthefun replied: No. But I try to just about everyday. If I don't then Rob will say something about it. So I try make it before he gets home.
