Disneyworld wedding! Woohoo!
mysweetpeasWil&Wes wrote: We just received a wedding invitation to Disneyworld Florida!!! I'm soooooooooo excited! The whole family is invited and DH said we could go...depending on flight costs, but we're going to look into it!! The girl that took my old position at work is getting married in February and she's doing it there! So we got a "Save the Date" packet in the mail and hotels don't look that expensive.
Nicole, how close are you? Any advice on ways to save money? We're coming in from Colorado...what's it like in February?? It's darn cold here that time of year! Wesley will only be about 8 months then, so I'm thinking of maybe having one of my parents watch him and just take Wil, but on the other hand, it would be so fun to take the whole family! Woo hoo! Totally made my day..I'm bouncing off the walls!
MomToJade&Jordan replied: I would look into Southwest for the flight. They always have some great rates and they are very family friendly. If you book them far enough in advance you can probably get a really good price and they have a bunch of non-stop flight as well. A Disney World wedding is very cool.
Winter here isn't too bad either. Probably one of the best times to come to Florida. Amy can tell you a whole bunch more about Orlando in Feb. Then I can though.
Kaitlin'smom replied: WOOO HOOO how fun. I woudl love to get married (well renew my vowes) there. I think having the characters for the wedding party woudl be a blast.
For flights we went Air Tran in sept, that was direct from dayton to orlando
lisar replied: I highly reccomend staying ON DISNEY stay in one of thier hotels. If price is an thing for you then check into what they call the All Star hotels. They are nice also. I only live 2 hours from there so we go alot.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Sounds like so much fun. Rae, I hope you can all go. KUP.
holley79 replied: That time of the year I would bring a set of clothes for any type of weather. Every year it varies down that way. Amy is closer down there then Nicole, Bri and I.
I envy you.
C&K*s Mommie replied: I think you are referring to Amy Nicole who lives in the region of Florida, not me Nicole. I wish I could help though, but I have never flown on a plane, and I am not 100% familiar with that area.
It sounds ideal to have a DW wedding though. I bet it will be gorgeous!
Hope you get to take in some of the area attractions and enjoy the sights and sounds of DW! Have a great time down there in that part of Florida.
Maddy'sMommy replied: I live in Central FL about an hour from Orlando. THe weather is probably pretty nice at that time of year, my guess would be b/t 60-70.... which is cold for me Have fun there is a lot to do here. I have not taken mine to Disney yet b/c she is only 19 months, but we have annual passes to Sea World.
luvmykids replied: I went to a DW wedding about seven years ago, it was soooo sweet with the Cinderella carriage and all that stuff I hope you guys get to go, Southwest has awesome internet specials, you can sign up on their website and they email you the list of cities on special.
A&A'smommy replied: cool I hope you guys have a blast!!!
CantWait replied: Sounds like a ton of fun for everyone. Have a great time.
amynicole21 replied: Fun! Yes, it'll be around 60 that time of year, but still cool at night. PM me if you have any specific questions about the area. I'd be glad to help.
MommyToAshley replied: That sounds like so much fun!!! How neat!
