Did your baby stay in-room on in nursery?

pinniy replied: Trei-Trei stayed with us in the room the whole time, except for a few hours the first night. Geoff and I were so exhausted, they took Trei-Trei so we could rest.

Azia stayed in the room, also, except for when I didn't have any visitors and needed to take a nap. As soon as I woke up, tho, I was calling down to the nursery to have her returned.

Pretty much the same....Just at night he they were in the nursery and brought for feedings...During the day I had Mckaylee, but Russell they would come and get periodically because he was having trouble regulating his body tempature...so they would putting under the warmer.

b&bsmom replied: Because my first labor was 32 hrs she spent the night in the nursery I needed to sleep. My second was 15hrs and I had him sleep in the nursery ( although I was up at 2 and asked to have him back) .

My3LilMonkeys replied: Brooke - room in during the day, nursery at night.

Madison - room in during the day. 1st night she went to the nursery for 2 hours. Then someone went into labor and all the nurses had to go assist (smaller hospital than the 1st). 2nd night she was in the nursery 6 hours for the testing and etc.

Oh, and with Madison when I wanted to shower they took her behind the nurses desk.

The never left except for pictures and PKU test which Dh or I went with them. We only stayeds 24 hours for each one.

That's what I did. Except I had Edward in the nursery every night because someone told me to keep him with the nursery so I could get some sleep before we took him home.

Cece00 replied: All of my kids have been with me almost all of the time except when they were doing stuff with them (peds, baths, workups, regular stuff) and if I was super exhausted, I'd let them go to the nursery a little to get a little rest, but they were with me like 85% of the time.

ediep replied: Jason was admitted into the hospital at birth, so he was in the special care nursery and he wasn't allowed to stay with us.

aspenblue1 replied: Isabella was in the nursery for about 4 hours because my bp was way to high and I was having issues with the epi but the rest of the time they were both with me.

giffmom replied: Jamison stayed in the room with us until they would come and get him for his work ups but besides that he was in the room with us. I can remember waking up one night because I heard somebody come and the nurse was going to try and take him while I was asleep, needless to say I let her have it, because she wasn't even going to ask me if I wanted her to take him.

with Ashton, he had some bugs they had to work out, he was a little early...but the 3rd night he was with me...we were discharged the next day...

With Shane I had him most of the time. I liked to send him to the nursery for like2 hours each night, so I could get a little rest, but the nurses didn't like that. They kept bringing him back in after like 30 minutes.
