Did you DH/SO do this when you had your baby?

Nina J wrote: Did your DH/SO thank you when you had your baby? I was just thinking about when Emily was born, a little while afterwards DH said to me "Thank you for making our baby".

Did your DH/SO thank you??

I think of the most odd things at random times rolling_smile.gif

luvmykids replied: No, but he said good job and how tired HE was!! rolleyes.gif

What a wonderful thing for your DH to say at such an awesome moment! wub.gif

KingMom replied: Keith did, he gave ma gift, nice big, diamond earrings wink.gif

mckayleesmom replied: Leithan did and still does....I get cards alot for no reason.

BAC'sMom replied: No, I don’t think he officially thanked me. He probably just said “good job” or “you did it honey”. I don’t recall any high fives or pats on the back. I do remember DH crying like a baby when DS#1 was born. I thought something was wrong with the baby, but it turned out DH was just very happy.

Kaitlin'smom replied: I dont think he thanked me in the moment, but I was kinda druged up from the c-section I do know he did say he was proud of me. wub.gif He has thanked me since.

C&K*s Mommie replied: He did not following, as far as my recollection can take and tell me. But he has said it in other ways since, that he is grateful for our girls. wub.gif

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: No...I don't think he ever has, nor do I think he really needs to. Though big Fat diamond earings would be nice biggrin.gif
He did tell me I was doing great while pushing w/ Katy...For that I just wanted to beat him to death, I was exhaused and his your doing greats were just annoying. I do believe I threatened to kill him if he ever said your doing great, good job, or almost there again

BAC'sMom replied:

My DH learned with DS#1 don't touch me, don't talk to me, I let him breath but he had to do it very quiet.

CosmetologyMommy replied: yeah right! if dh would have said something like that I would have had to stay in the hospital due to a coma!

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied:
Same here!...although I wouldn't describe my earrings as big! laugh.gif I love my man! wub.gif

luvmykids replied:
LMBO!!! emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif

Makenzi'sMom replied: Mone did also while he was crying. One of the happiest moments of my life, even with him.

Heather77 replied: No, but Troy isn't really mushy like that. He was very supportive though, and he also cried when he saw them both for the first time.

3xsthefun replied: Not really, but he did cry when they was both born and told me he loved me.

He did buy me some flowers after Kaitlynn was born, and bought me some nice warm socks after Maegan was born.

I guess he thanked me in his own way after they was born. happy.gif

~~*Missi*~~ replied: He didn't thank me per say. But he did say I am so glad your the mother of my child and you did such a wonderful job of it, i know it was a rough one for ya!
So it was nice......

kayla's mama replied: He didn't say Thank you....he just said "we finally did it" smile.gif

ilovemybaby replied: No. He complained about not getting much sleep (I had none) and he didn't want to hold Abby for fear of breaking her rolleyes.gif I insisted he hold her and told him he would not break her. He was very good though. He was very supportive and reassuring the whole time and very happy/proud and he helped me with everything... showering too. He took good care of me. I think after seeing how much pain I was in it made him thankful and I think he kind of looked up to me for going through all that pain.

kimberley replied: my ex did with the boys but i don't recall dh doing that.

Kated replied: We didnt have a baby yet but I think tht is so............ cute that yours thanked you!

CantWait replied: Nope, dh didn't, but I thanked him wub.gif

calbury replied: He didn't thank me - he was too busy sharing my painkillers! He suffered a herniated disc prior to the birth - I went into labour while we were waiting to see the doctor about HIS back. We had to get to the birthing centre 10 miles away in a hurry and he was in agony, I think he moaned louder than me! He still managed to pour water over my back in the birthing pool during the contractions, though ... aah!

ashtonsmama replied: Ryan has said stuff LIKE that, but not exactly...he's a sweetheart, I couldn't ask for a better father or husband...
wub.gif

Edward's Mommy replied: Chris not only thanked me but he said he respected me in a whole different way and that he was amazed and awed by my strength! wub.gif

My3LilMonkeys replied: My DH didn't thank me - with Brooke he cried a little (he'd kill me if he knew I just told you that tongue.gif ) and said "look at that beautiful baby you made." I told him no, WE made it, so with Madison he made sure to use the we term. wub.gif
