Teesa®© replied: That's sad
What's sadder is there's probably going to be parental forced abortions and adoptions.
MommyToAshley replied: I heard about it on the news.
Crazy, sad, and scary all at the same time.
luvmykids replied: I agree.
Kirstenmumof3 replied: I had heard about this and it's very sad! I hope these girls will be able to access some counselling before there babies are born. I had Emily when I was 20 and I felt that I was in no way ready to be a parent, I can't imagine personally being a teenage mom.
stella6979 replied: The only ones I feel sorry for are the babies.
A&A'smommy replied: I read this yesterday.. it breaks my heart that these young girls WANTED to get pregnant when they have so much more they need to be doing before they become mothers (like growing up, and being a carefree teenager).
Crystalina replied: Well, I believe when the newness of the baby wears off that will be something they learn/miss a little too late.
I'm trying to figure out if it's the parents that should be blamed for their daughters poor decisions or it's peer pressure/the need to "fit in" that is to blame. I would like to think that any girl raised and taught right would opt to back out of this deal. There are a lot of teen girls I know and their thing is "saving it for marriage" and their proud of it.
And one of the girls in the pact (maybe more then one) got pg by a 24 yr old homeless man. Did she just need his sperm?
Calimama replied: Oh gosh are they are going to have a rude awakening. What a sad situation.
luvbug00 replied: this one was interesting to me. I wanted to be a mother at 16 and become one by 18.( I didn't plan mya though) I think the needs of one girl were not adressed by her parents and so to not go threw it alone she recruited some friends to join her. I'm shocked that they tried so hard to get preg. (one supposedly by a homeless man) and what risk they put themselfs threw with std's and all. I was fine with being a young mom becuase i had lived the adult life too soon but thease kids are in over their heads imo.
holley79 replied: It's very sad. It's almost like it was a game for them. maybe they should have been on Baby Borrowers!
stella6979 replied: I just saw the previews for that. I'd like to say I won't watch it, but somehow I don't see that happening.
holley79 replied: I will be watchign it. At first I was like I'm not wasting my time but after seeing the previews I will so be watching it.
bawoodsmall replied: so sad. I have a coworker who is desperately wanting a child because she wants something that she feels will always love her. They just dont realize how hard it is. When I saw it though I immediately asked emily(shes 4) if kids should have babies and she thought it was fine. Apparently you can leave them in the car or on the step. who knew
My2Beauties replied: Sad
jcc64 replied: Wow, is all I can say. Now that's peer pressure run amok!
maestra replied: I thought of that show when a friend told me about this too. Seems like maybe that show is well needed now. How sad- this is a decision that they will never be able to take back, and to have made it so young. I'm not talking about teenage mothers, but that they made this pact to all get pg at the same time, and in high school.
Cece00 replied: I'm disgusted, personally. Obviously these girls have rocks for brains and do NOT need to be raising babies. Their very immature choices show how completely unprepared they are to have kids. I will hope that for at least some of these babies, they are adopted into good homes where they will be raised well by people who are ready to do it.
HuskerMom replied: How sad
MoonMama replied: Big time!
This breaks my heart so much!
