I'm sorry to say that Kylie is probably too big for it--Iain barely fits in it anymore and he's only 29" long and 20lbs.

But for a new baby--totally! I plan to put the next one in it from birth.

What's funny is I think you are the only person I've heard from about these things and then about 2 weeks ago I was in a consignment shop and actually saw one those things. DH looked at me and said "what is this weird torture chamber?" LOL. I had to explain to him what it was and how I wished we would have known about it when Kylie was younger. Definately will get one for the next one *IF* he/she is that way, lol. But I'm *HOPING* that the next one won't. I must be dreaming if I just said that, lol.

and in respond to that I have heard the myth if you have a good baby dont get spoild as the next one will challenge you....so maybe the oppisite is ture?

It's true though, I know someone who has a 3 year old who is like Iain and she now has a 7 month old who is just the happiest, sweetest baby. She slept 12 hours straight from the time she was 2 weeks old, falls asleep by herself on the floor, totally happy. She actually sleeps in the bassinet next to the bed b/c her brother still cosleeps and nurses all night long, LOL!!

I wanted twins the first time! Could you imagine if I had 2 of my precious Kylie I would have went straight to the funny farm, lol. Gotta love her though
