This afternoon I was looking at our CAD screen and I saw where one of my friends was out on an Animal Complaint. Well I clicked on it to read the notes and it said she was out on the bridge with an injuried Pelican and she was waiting on Animal Control to get there. Mind you we have had gusts up to 60 MPH today and it has been pouring. Well she was out keeping cars from hitting him and was just trying to keep him from further injuring himself. After about an hour Animal Control finally showed up. They got out of the truck, walked up to my friend and the Pelican flew off. She was SO mad. She is soaked to the bone. Now she is on her way to Wal Mart to get some dry soaks.

We are all glad the Pelican is ok though.

She was a little. I asked her why she didn't bop it on the head for doing that to her. Sometimes Pelicans are so goofy. We have that problem with them all the time.
