I need to go get Kylie some new ballet slippers and tap shoes if I can find some, other than that, that should be my only expenses today.

Kaitlin'smom replied: so far nothing for me, I got coffee at a meeting I had to attend this moring and free lunch waiting for me in the fridge when I am ready for it.

Our Lil' Family replied: I don't plan on leaving therefore I can't spend money! I have a friend coming over with her son this afternoon to play so I should be good today!!

3_call_me_mama replied: Today: $40 on gas (will last until next monday as we are going away this weekend and it cost us that in gas to get to the inlaws adn back. ) $10 on a bridalk shower gift (no I'm not that cheap, it was paired with a $30 gift card to filenes that i had so we got a $60 gift on sale for $40 and paid $10!)
New shoes/sandles for the kids $24 (got Cameron a pair of sandals/slide things at oshkosh, kathleen water shoes and kathleen sneaker type things for teh fall also at osk kosh~ resisted a MAJOR sale there .. all fall stuff 40-60% off andf summer at 70% off... saved about $300 by not buying anyhting but teh shoes i went in for! LOL)

Brias3 replied: Today I picked up three plants at the garden center but the elderly man who owns it gave me a nice deal- half price on all three. That was $27 total and besides picking up a birthday gift today for my friend's son- that's all I'm going to spend!

My2Beauties replied: I'm already bad today, went out for lunch with some girls at work to TGI Friday's, spent $10.41 including tip I guess that's not too bad. I Bowl tonight, that is another $12 (every Wednesday we pay $12 to bowl ) and then I'll get food there too, another $10 probably, Hanna always wants pizza and I always want a cheeseburger with a large coke. So, Wednesdays are not my day to save money!

I did save .02 per gallon so thats .43 saved.....woo hoo not great but I guess its better than nothing. I think I will find that in change and actually save it and see how long till I get 10 saved

coasterqueen replied: Ok, besides my $6.46 for milk today I spent $18.54 on ebay for 2 pair of ballet slippers and one pair of tap shoes for Kylie. I discovered last night at her class that her feet grew OVERNIGHT (literally, lol, last week they fit, last night they wouldn't). SO that's not really bad for three pair and they are supposedly in excellent condition. I just hope they fit! Then I went to the dollar store at lunch to get paper products and a package of gum for $5.90.

I'm B R O K E til Friday, well at least my personal spending money wise.

luvmykids replied: Just $20 for gas today, although I do need to go get some bug spray but that isn't urgent and if I go just for that I'll get other stuff too so I figure I'll wait until I truly need the other stuff I'd likely grab.

The grocery store I use now has "gas rewards" and since I spent over $90 last time I shopped I got a coupon for .15 a gallon off, my gas was $2.80 a gallon instead of $2.95!

My3LilMonkeys replied: I spent $7.00 for new sandals for Brooke, $6 on shampoo/conditioner, and $4.00 on a puzzle book to take on vacation for me - I guess that wasn't quite a necessity, but it'll make the trip alot nicer!

coasterqueen replied: Ok, today must have been my day to spend. Hopefully Dh doesn't care he 'sorta' gave me my spending money for Friday a few days early. I spent $13.00 on a pair of Robeez for Megan and had to stop on the way home at the store again spending $3.09 for organic mac n' cheese (hope it tastes good, lol) and cream of chicken soup.

That's it for today.

So I spent $46.99 today over all. Oy!!!!

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I spent $20 at the grocery store for milk, soup for my sick DH and some other ingredients for tomorrow's dinner.

I also had to pick up 2 prescriptions for Scotty and that was $40.

So, $60 spent today. (on necessary items)

Hillbilly Housewife replied: 6.85$ to a local garage for fixing our tire... dh announced to me last night that we had a flat tire... anyways - after he put the donut on and went to the garage, they figured out that it was just the cap that had broken off.... so they filled the tire and put another cap on...

lesliesmom replied: Today was a splurge day. Spent $30 online at a place called baggageclaim. Things left behind, etc. I got DD a cinderalla dressup outfit for $3 and a Simpsons video (season??) for $20 - later found out that's about normal. So, $30.

I also spent $5 on cigarettes... I really need to quit.

DH spent $20 on beer (we were all out from a party we had over the weekend).

BUT...I got the bank to credit us $96 in overdraft fees they assessed on my account when they held DH's paycheck from last friday. For some reason, they decided to put a hold on it causing my account to go into the negatives becuase I thought the funds were there... at least the took the hold off and creditted me my money back....

ETA: Forgot, had to spend $20 in co-pay at Drs office. Had to go in because I was having a terrible reaction to some mosquito bites I got. Legs were red and blotchy and itching like crazy. Becuase of that, we had to go to Target to get my Rx filled. Ended up spending $60 there. 2 Scripts (DH needed his asthma inhaler refilled to), some drink mix, clearanced tooth brushes, brownies for DD's birthday, 2 shirts for DD for school uniform (found out when I looked at the receipt we only got charged for one ) and some toys for the kids B-day. Actually, we returned a couple duplicates we got and let them pick out some new things - pretty much broke even there.

TheOaf66 replied: did not spend any yesterday but had to drop the kitten off at vet today to get spayed so that will take some $$$. This weekend will be rough because we have to go buy b-day presents for Tanner, he will be 4 a week from today so he is getting a big boy bike and whatever else we can find.
