mom2tripp replied: OMG I hope Tripp doesn't stop anytime soon I don't think he could go without them, he gets SOOOO cranky. Two naps 1.5 hours each time

my2monkeyboys replied: My son just turned 3, and other than just recently since the time changed (he's waking a little earlier since it's getting light sooner!), he hasn't taken naps in about 3 months. Recently though he's been falling asleep in the car for 30 minutes or so around lunch time (if we're riding). I kind of miss the nap time, but it's a little more liberating too.

ediep replied: jason is 3, and he still takes a nap most days. He goes down after lunch about 1-2 pm and sleeps for about 2 hours

MyLuvBugs replied: Yep. 1 nap for 2-3 hours in the afternoon.

b&bsmom replied: Bryce didn't sleep through the night until about 18 months and that is about when he gave up naps. He is not a sleeper and is always on the move. He started walking at 9 months and has not stopped since. He is 3 now. He goes to bed between 8 and 9 and is usually up around 6:30. No sleep for me.

mummy2girls replied: jenna just turned 3 and she doesnt nap anymore. But im fine with that because i work fulltuime so im away from her alot during the week. so i treasure my time with her:)

ian'smommy replied: I still put Ian in his room but most times all he does is play. On occasion depending on how tired he is he will have a short nap as well. He is 3. It's probably been a year or so since he cut them out of his daily routine. But as I said, I still give him a quiet time so that I can get things done without him underfoot or just so i can watch some grownup tv without him around.

Sarah&Mackenzie replied: Yes!! She takes 2 naps. One morning and one in the afternoon. The time varies on how long she sleeps, but if she misses a nap she is SO CRANKY!!! Oh, and she will be 1 in a few days.

MommyToAshley replied: Ashley is 3 and has a rest time. Sometimes she will nap and sometimes she will just lay down and read her books. But, she must "rest" every day. She usually naps on Wed and Thurs because those are busy days for us.

canddsmom8 replied: yes, my son Dylan takes a nap most days. When he does take one, he sleeps for 1-3 hours.

My3LilMonkeys replied: Brooke just turned 2 and only naps once in a while (maybe 1-2 times a month). She has not napped regularly since she was about 13 months. I hope Madison doesn't give hers up that soon!

LeesAnn'smommy replied: LeeAnn is 14 months old and she still takes two naps. Usually about two hours each. We can't cut out a nap yet. She doesn't like us to do that at this point. She gets very upset if she doesn't get two.

This is what I do too. I can't cope without the nap/quiet time! Sometimes she does go to sleep but normally she just destroys her bedroom by pulling EVERY toy out and you can't walk from one end of the room to the other. But without that time for me to rest I would die! She is constantly on the move and destructs any room she is in in seconds. I call her Cyclone Abby LOL

My2Beauties replied: Yes Hanna is 2 and still takes at least 1 nap if not 2 a day. If she doesn't get her nap in she'll go to bed extra early that night, which I don't like because I don't see her until 5:30 everyday, so if she goes to bed at 7:00 I only get 1.5 hours with her and she is normally cranky the entire time since she didnt' get a nap!

Celestrina replied: most days Ben takes a 1.5 - 2 hour nap. It can sometimes take a while for him to fall asleep.

PhiMuMommy replied: one nap usually around 2 ish.. depending on when he wakes up.. but we have a weird schedule. my son is 2 and 1/2

mommy2owen replied: Owen usually takes a nap everyday at around 1, for about 2.5 hours, sometimes longer. Other days he'll take two short naps, one around 10 for about an hour and then another around 2 for mabye 1.5 hours.

DS#2 still takes a nap just about every day - usually he goes to his room a little after lunch-time (plays for a bit - usually falls asleep by 1:30) and I have to get him up at 3pm to go pick up the girls at school. There are some days lately where he doesn't lay down and just play in his room for the afternoon - he's nearly 2.5 which is when most of my kids stop napping.

DS#1 takes the occasional nap - usually after lunch down here on the sofa -- after his brother is asleep and quiet upstairs. But it's definately not something he does daily. He stopped daily naps around 2.5 years old.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Wil went from two naps to one at around 12 months. He goes down everyday after lunchtime and sleeps for at least two hours, sometimes four! Love it!
