Daylight Saving Time
coasterqueen wrote: Don't forget Daylight Saving Time this Sunday, April 2! SPRING FORWARD your clocks before you go to bed Saturday night.
Also, DST is a perfect time to check/test/replace the batteries on your smoke detectors.
luvbug00 replied: so clocks go forward .. do we gain sleep then??
Thanks for the reminder!!!
coasterqueen replied: No, you lose an hour
luvmykids replied: Oooh thank you! We've been counting down so long we forgot all about it! DH will be soooo happy ... he can play golf even later now! What he doesn't know is he'll be taking the twins with him a lot!!!!!
jacobsmama replied: I know This is the first time in 30 years that my part of indiana is going to be doing daylight savings time!! I told the girls at work on monday I will either be an hour early or 2 hours late! haha
Bee_Kay replied: Thanks for the reminder!!
PrairieMom replied: I'm so excited! I have to work this weekend, so I am looking foward to loosing an hour! pluss DH gets to deal with swiching The Boy's internal time clock, not me!
Brias3 replied: I nearly forgot! Thanks for the reminder
kayla's mama replied: Thanks for the reminder
I thought everyone did DST
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I just heard that on the news.
My2Beauties replied: No not everyone does, my friend lives in Indiana too and she lives in a part of INdiana where they just started doing DST too. I wont be looking forward to it, beacuse I lose an hour of sleep AND I'm going out for my cousin's b'day that night, so we have one less hour to party
luvmykids replied: I could be wrong, but it seems like Arizona doesn't do it either?
Just found out Hawaii doesn't do it either, the only place in AZ that does is the Hopi Reservation.
Bee_Kay replied: wow, learn something new everyday.
I just always assumed that everyone did DST
kimberley replied: thanks for the miserable reminder lol. like i don't get enough sleep as it is
holley79 replied: I am so glad I am working that night. Means I only have to work 11 hours but get paid for 12.
ashtonsmama replied: Thanks for the PSA! I always forget, DH is better about remembering, he has clocks all around the house and now he put up NOTES by a couple of them reminding me to turn them back... I'd forget otherwise!
ashtonsmama replied: Whoa...I'm totally out of the loop on all that, never even thought about it. How wierd.
1lilpeanut2love replied: Thanks for the reminder. We definitely will change/check the batteries in the smoke detector. It could save our life!:)
