Darn shoes!!!

Maddie&EthansMom wrote: I have SO much trouble picking out shoes to wear with certain outfits. What shoes do you wear with your jeans??? (in the wintertime?) Please help. I need new shoes and I dont' know what to buy. rolleyes.gif

six_kids_at_28 replied: I like sneakers and UGG boots and the UGG slippers are very cute. THere are some nice little leather shoes too with a heel...just browse around and you will find something. wink.gif

PrairieMom replied: I love my brown leather Born clogs. I also have black leather born boots that go up to mid calf. They are the MOST comfortable shoes! I actually look foward to winter so I can wear them!

kit_kats_mom replied: My black high heeled boots. Love them.

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: I'll start this by saying I am really picky when it comes to shoes
Winter...Uggs or runnig shoes (yes the type of athletic shoe does seem to matter smile.gif )
any time of the year when there isn't a few inches of slushy snow Reef flip flops (and yes the brand on those do matter)

My3LilMonkeys replied: sneakers or black boots, depending on the shirt.

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: I love my old school Pumas with jeans. If I'm going out, boots with a heal (suede or leather). If I'm out in snow...well then I wear a pair of really ugly Burton hiking boots that I've had for years! LOL! I'm looking for a good pair of snow boots at the moment...something comfy. I'm eyeing a pair of fuzzy Merrils, but I'm such a heal kinda gal...it's hard for me to wear anything with a thick rubber sole unless it's an athletic shoe! I don't know why. I feel better in heals I guess although they kill my bunions! LOL! laugh.gif

coasterqueen replied: wavey.gif Fashion victim again here. tongue.gif I wear whatever feels comfortable at that moment. tongue.gif I wear flat dress shoes with jeans, even. Course I haven't bought a pair of shoes in well, the blue flat dress shoes I wore with jeans today are 8 years old. blush.gif Just wear what you feel comfortable in. Me - I go for comfortable and cheap because I LOVE shoes but can't afford all the cute styles that are out there.

Mommy2BAK replied:
Karen, you are so beautiful that I don't think it matters what you wear, you will still look gorgeous! thumb.gif

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Well, this winter I will be wearing the black Skecher's shoes that I've had for about 4 years. The only thing they look good with is jeans, but then that's all I wear. rolleyes.gif

ediep replied: it depends, I have been waering my sketchers lately, those ones with the zig zag velcro, I have them in brown and black. If I am getting a little dressier then i wear my leather boots with a heel.

Do you ever watch What not to wear on TLC? i always get good ideas from Stacy and Clinton

Maddie&EthansMom replied:
I suppose I need to watch it more. I just NEVER pay attention to people's shoes so I'm clueless. I need to start looking at people's shoes more. laugh.gif

coasterqueen replied:
I've seen it. They would have a hay day with me! laugh.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied: With jeans?

my black suede ankle boots.

Or ahtletic shoes.

If I'm wearing jeans, I don't have to have dressy shoes on... lol There's a dress code at work - so it's a casual day!!

ammommy replied: Oh, shoes, my favorite subject. Let me start out by saying that I LOVE SHOES!!! The only thing that I wear with my sneakers is my workout clothes. Big pet peeve of mine, but that's just me.
With jeans I wear either heeled boots or some of the flats that are out this season. If the weather is going to be crummy but not snowy I'll toss on a pair of leather loafers. If the weather is nice, then I'll wear some of my "cute" shoes that are either embellished or suede. As you may be able to tell, I have a *ahem* few pair around the house rolling_smile.gif
