Danalana.... - I have an idea for you....

punkeemunkee'smom wrote: I don't know if you had your levels checked after you MCed a few weeks ago but I just saw your post about your new news (yeah!! wub.gif ) and I was wondering if you had considered that maybe this is in fact the same pregnancy? I have a friend that bled and was told she miscarried only to find out a couple of months later she had not lost that baby as her 'new pregnancy' was due on the same date ohmy.gif rolling_smile.gif Anyway I am just bringing this up as it might help you to get into the doctor's office early if you really don't know for sure (no after bloodwork).... smile.gif HTH wink.gif

CantWait replied: Wouldn't that be interesting and fabulous. Although the line was still quite light on her test, wouldn't it be darker if it was in fact the same pregnancy?? Or would that matter? unsure.gif

PrairieMom replied: Now that you mention it, the same thing happened to my SIL. They figure she originally had twins, and lost one.

lovemy2 replied: Hmmmmm - something to consider - but yes I am wondering about the line too??

indywndy_04 replied: Oh wow - that is interesting, I never thought about that. You know...your HCG count does start going down some after...10 weeks I think it is....so wouldnt that make the line a little lighter?? I dont know, just a thought. Wow - that would be wild if she went to the appt to find out she was really like 3 months along already!

grapfruit replied: That sounds very logical to me! Call call call call call. happy.gif

Oh and forgot last time: ***sticky vibes*** hug.gif

Mommy2Isabella replied: I know when she mc'd her level HCG was 53. A lot of home test, the one she used in particular doesn't pick up unless you are in the 100's.

That would be interesting though...!

Danalana replied: Alright, I considered that too. BUT, it had been 25 days, AND my level was only 53. If I had actually still been pregnant, my temps wouldn't have returned to the normal pattern (I chart). Like, my temp was way low during the bleeding and all until I ovulated...it went up and stayed up. That's why I don't think I was actually still pregnant. Make sense? Your temps stay up for 12 weeks, until the placenta takes over the job of producing progesterone. But yeah, I had wondered about it.

Danalana replied:
Hehe, it actually was dark...I took that picture almost right after I peed on it. The line came in immediately with the test line. *shrug*

grapfruit replied: Ah well who cares if you were or if this is the same or what. What matters is that you ARE pregnant now. And that you STAY pregnant for the term! hug.gif

Danalana replied: YES! I am determined to have this baby!
I read somewhere to visualize it burrowing into your uterus and stuff like that. I laughed at that and thought it was corny. But what am I doing today? I'm visualizing it burrowing into my uterus and sticking there! I'm a dork!

grapfruit replied:
If that works I think we'll ALL be up to visualizing that for you too! happy.gif

Danalana replied: I think it's in there already. I've definitely felt some twinges and stuff the last 3 days smile.gif I love it.

msoulz replied:
LOL - you're not a dork! That 's really sweet. Burrow, baby, burrow!!!!! wub.gif

CantWait replied: Hey whatever works, RIGHT!!!! Burrow away little bean. wub.gif

ZandersMama replied:
That's what happened to me, had twins and lost one, was totally floored to learn I was still preggo. wub.gif
