Crystalina replied: I don't know how I ended up here. I thought I was in General Discussion.
Oh well, this seems to be the perfect place to ask.
Danalana replied: Hey Crystal It's going fine, thank you for asking! I go back to the doctor on the 31st. I can't wait to hear the heartbeat--it's the sweetest sound in the world
gr33n3y3z replied: I'm glad your doing good KUP
Danalana replied: Thanks, Lisa...I will.
Crystalina replied: By your ticker it looks like things are going great!! I'm so glad this is going well this time.
amymom replied: Great news!!!
lovemy2 replied: Awesome news and I love your new siggie pic
Danalana replied: Thanks, ladies! I'll just be glad to get out of the "feeling yucky" stage. Like, I have this huge aversion to chicken. Just thinking about it right now makes me wanna barf.
lovemy2 replied: I couldn't eat chicken during either of my pregnancies.....actually I wasn't too fond of meat at all - raw meat was enough to make me
Crystalina replied: DH always kids that our kids are made of Reese's Cups because I swear I couldn't get enough. DH used to buy them by the case and I would freeze them. I could barely eat anything besides them. It caught up with my butt with my second pg though. The funny thing is that now when the kids pick out candy they always go for the Reese's Cups. MIL fills up Halloween and Easter baskets full of them. Weird how that works.
I just re-read my post and I'm not sure it has anything at all to do with Dana's not being able to eat chicken but I'm posting it anyway.
CantWait replied:
I hated hated hated chicken when I was pregnant with Anthony. I couldn't so much as see it on t.v. without wanting to hurl
A&A'smommy replied: well actually at our drs. office if they don't hear the heartbeat at that point they will send her over to u/s actually had a lady in there the last time I went (on the 9th) that had that happen to her she was as far along as dana
Danalana replied: Yeah, I've heard of people who weren't able to hear it til a week later or something...I want to hear it, but I know it's there already because of the ultrasound I already had. I'll be 10 1/2 weeks, so I'm hoping to hear it. I know they would probably send me to u/s if not, but that would only worry me that something was wrong. One girl i know on the board I go to says they couldn't hear hers and they went to u/s...it was becuase her uterus is tilted. Anyway, I'll let you know how it goes.
DillsMommy replied: I first heard it at 10 weeks. I hope you get to too!
I wonder what it is about chicken. It seems to make alot of people
moped replied: I just heard it last week but that is odd I think.......he wouldn't even check before that
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: That is when I heard Mackenzie's! Good Luck!
Danalana replied: Well, I got to see and hear it on the ultrasound when I was 6 weeks and 3 days...but I do hope we are able to hear it again at this appt. There's something so reassuring about it, you know, before you can feel the baby move.
