gr33n3y3z replied: oh it will be one of those days
A&A'smommy replied: Okay....
kit_kats_mom replied: call her and ask her if she feels like coming in and when she says "no" (which you totallyknow she will) then say. "I meant....ever. Don't bother coming back" and then call a temp service to see if you can find an enthusiastic worker. What a loser...does she have a drinking problem?
TANNER'S MOM replied: I don't know.. she had great references..
But who knows. If she comes back tomorrow it will be her last chance..
luvbug00 replied: I agree, Does your work have a 90 day no call out period? Most jobs here do and any violation of that unless somone in the family dies or you have a dr.s note there is NO excuse and she would be fired. I know good help is hard to find but going thew a temp would be better i think.
Good luck!
Jamielou replied: Sure dont sound like she needs a job does it.... I would give her tomorrow and then i would have to let her go...
DVFlyer replied: How freakin' weird is that? Didn't mean to send any bad mojo out your way, but this sure adds validation to my point.
Good luck.
JAYMESMOM replied: I would give her one more chance and then let her go. No calling if you are going to be late is an automatic no-no ecspecially on the second day.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Sorry to hear that...she's totally outta there IMO. We had a receptionist at my work who was literally out sick EVERY friggin Monday. We finally found out it was because she would watch the game Sunday night and get really drunk. DV had said it was an age thing, but this lady was around 50. She once got drunk at a company function and crashed her car into our work's parking garage wall...this was all before I started, but I heard the stories. Our boss still kept her around for five years!!! Sorry to hog the post...just funny stories. I'm sure it's not funny to you Mel...sorry. I would probably get rid of her...there are not really second chances in my book.
DVFlyer replied:
I did?
moped replied: See ya, wouldn't want to be ya!
That's what I would say..................
