DH told me something disturbing today... - He may have to go to Iraq or Afganistan.

People always say things like i knew what i was getting into but it does not stop you worrying, you wouldnt love him if you didnt.

Do they know when a final decision will be made? I always do better if I am not left hanging KWIM?

favre4fan replied: I can completely relate to what you are going through. I was an airforce brat and we lived in Germany and I met my ex husband over there. Well we got married and he got deployed to saudi during desert storm for 6 months needless to say this was after I found out I was pregnant. So not only was I 18 pregnant and alone but my family had already moved back to states. He came back in time for the birth and then got deployed for another 6 months. It was rough and I know how it feels to be on this roller coaster of not knowing. It is a hard thing to be a military wife or family. Its like you know it going into that kind of life but then you don't ever think something like this could have to happen. well I will keep my fingers crossed that he does not have to go. Please let us know when u find out.

There is a girl that is a little older than I am her baby is about 3 months old I think and her husband (that she married like a month ago) is going to Iraq for like 40 weeks or something. I hope for your sake and for Jade that he doesn't have to go! I'm keeping him in my prayers!!!

MomToJade&Jordan replied: I love you guys. Thank you so much I'm over here in tears. You guys are the greatest. No sleep wasn't very easy for me last night. At this moment we have no idea when he would have to go if he is chosen. he doesn't even know when the decision will be made. He got back from his last little thing about 6 months ago. That was only a class for his job. This will be so much worse. Thank you everyone for your prayers and positive thoughts. I will keep all of you posted about this. I am hoping that he will know more by tonight.

A very good friend of mine got news last week that her husband is getting sent to Afghanistan on the 18th of november for what they said will be 18 months! She is a WRECK, they just got married on sept 11 and had very little idea that he would even be considered to go cause he's in guards. I pray for all of you with family in the military.
