DH made the day even better...
MomToMany wrote: First off, the school calls and says I have to pick Logan up because he's sick (102* fever). Then DH comes home for lunch. He says I've got great news for you. I HATE it when he says that, because it's NEVER anything good. He tells me, because of Christmas and New Year's being short weeks at work, he needs 30,000 cables done by next Friday ! I just wanted to him!!! That's about twice as much as I have to do.
Boy, what a sweetheart !!!

kimberley replied: i am sorry you are having such a rotten couple of days. take a nice bubble bath, have a glass of wine and relax for a couple of hours. trust me, even though all the chaos is still around, that hour or two away works wonders. hope things get better for you soon.
alice&arik replied: Oh he is so sweet Mollie! Ya think he would have less as a nice Holiday break...no! Ugh, I couldn't imagine doing all those! If I could I would come over and help you. But sorry I have to work...
Good Luck! And maybe put some ice on those fingers, might help!
MommyToAshley replied: I am sorry your day is getting even worse! Ugghh! You need a break.. you deserve a break (sorry to sound like a McDonald's commercial)
Just curious, what kind of cable do you need to make? Do you (or your DH) run your own business?
MomToMany replied: Here's what I do:
I take a black plastic housing, insert the wire into the slot, and snap it shut. Pretty simple, but very time-consuming. It's for the company DH works for. They go on automotive horn switches (about 5 inch round flat thing, depends on which one it is) . When I'm done with them, DH brings them back to work. Then they are connected to the switch, tested, and shipped out to the customer.
The only reason I do these is for the money. It takes up a lot of time, but at least I'm able to stay home with the kids, and not have them in day-care.
Here's a pic of what they look like before I asemble them:
MomToMany replied: LOL! That made me laugh so hard, I almost peed my pants!
But yes, a nice break would be nice (never had a vacation in my life, probably never will, either ).
Just had to vent, otherwise I was going to explode !
MommyToAshley replied: That's neat that you can do something from home. But, I can imagine that would take a lot of time. Maybe your DH can help you make them.
