DH left the shed unlocked

Kirstenmumof3 replied: I called the police and they said there was nothing they could do, but if we had the serial numbers that would really help if they did find them. So I am phoning Canadian Tire and Zellers (similar to KMart) to see if they keep records of the bikes they selll. DH went online and ordered a new bike for Emily. It's a really nice bike, but not the one she had. She's pretty angry and keeps asking me "if the police are going to find my bike?" I can't stop crying. I just feel so bad for her. This was her first real bike. You know, not a second hand one, no training wheels. She loved her bike. I'm sure her new bike will make her feel better. It's a better bike than her old one, regularly $149.99 on for $79.99. She will love it. DH also checked the Canadian Tire Website and it says they have the bike I had in stock. So he said he is going to get me a new one in a few weeks. I only just got this bike a month ago. We were just getting ready to install one of those bicycle seats for babies. I'm glad we didn't, that would have put us out even more money. All in total the bikes were valued at $245.00 together. I'm so sad, angry and in shock! I still don't understand why people need to steal! It's just WORNG!
