DH is so happy

They called him while he was out of work and wanted to know if he would come back to do some consulting work for them. He left there 5 years ago to take another job and has regretted it every since. Those people were our family. Scotty helped build that store. It's his baby.

How strange to be talking about a job like that. There's just a certain romance about it.

They gave him a car to drive, it's close to home, the hours aren't your typical dealership hours and there's better clientele since you are dealing in luxury vehicles. It's good for now. It's the best we've had in months or even years. I'll take it.

No, it fell through. The funny thing is, the day Scotty got that feeling that things weren't going to work out (the investors backed out essentially) he got 3 calls offering him a job. Only one was a possibility and in the meantime the Jag store called and it was the better of the deal...the other was too far to drive.

It's been a tough couple of months. I hope we are on the home stretch now.

Boys r us replied: You sometimes things happen and we don't know or understand WHY..until a little later..sounds like that's the case with you guys!!! This sounds like a dream job and here's hoping that at the end of 60 days Scotty is on full time with them!!!
