DH is going to FL

Kaitlin'smom replied: here is the plan he will fly out tomorrow ngiht and they will drive to atlanta area friday moring get a hotel and then drive here saturday, one we know whats going on will determine when he drives them back. we will see him a bit tongiht and a bit in the moring then not again till saturday sometime.

Well I'm wishing him safe travels. I haven't talked to Dh to see what FEMA's rules are about hurricanes. I know they have to get out if they are close, but this one doesn't appear to be going his direction, although we know things could change. I hope he calls soon so I can ask.

Side note: My dad's girlfriend has to go on a business trip to Florida for 5 days, she left this morning, can you believe they made her go down there still? She is going to a part that may be hit, I can't remember which city. This is so scary! I hope your DH doesn't run into any bad weather, and tell him to be safe!

kit_kats_mom replied: does he already have his flight? SW airlines is being wierd about their flights even starting tomorrow. DH Had to cut his trip to Canada short to come home early tomorrow morning because they would not say for sure if the flight would be diverted.

Kaitlin'smom replied: yes he did, but all got canciled as grandpa is in the hospital with chest pains so now we are just waiting to hear. It was crazy last night with them on the phone trying to plan everyting and then grandma called this am to tell him not to come until they know whats going on with grandpa.

My p&pt's go out to those in FL. A little birdie is telling me Louisianna isn't in the clear on this either if weather patterns go "just right", it may be worse for them even.
