It always seems to be at the worst times, too. Like after dinner, when the kids need to be cleaned up - of if the dishwasher needs to be emptied, reloaded and started... or if there is yard work to be done...
Funny how whenever we don't have the kids and i want to paint or do some sort of house fixing - he has "explosive bouts of diarhea".
I personally think he just sits there and relaxes.... maybe I should start - stick him with what i do...

And my husband spends ages on the toilet too. UGH He always goes when I need to use the bathroom and it is so annoying.

Boys r us replied: I think that mine is done way before he comes out..he always reads his magazines in there..so I think he just likes to escape to his "peaceful haven" and pretend it takes longer than it really does!

My DH is actually pretty quick...but my question is...why does he GO so many times in one day!!! I always tell him it's not fair! Sorry if that's TMI! 
My2Beauties replied: This is cracking me up! LOL! Mine is faster than me actually I can honestly take 15-20 minutes easy! I can sometimes go 2-3 times a day too. So my DH has the opposite problem with me.

Our Lil' Family replied: My DH uses it as time to read his Jeep magazines. It's pretty funny cause we'll get one in the mail and he'll say, you need me? ok, off to my office! He can sit in there 30 minutes, easy! I've even done it a couple times just to get some quiet, but I usually don't have 30 minutes to spare!

When Tyler was about 3 or 4 years old, he was in the bathroom and I opened the door and he was pooping WHILE EATING A PB&J SANDWICH!!!

It is my haven away from the craziness in my house. But then it usually follows me into the bathroom as it is only off limits when dad is in there and even the "fart sucker" doesnt help.
I swear I can have a family meeting while i shower.
