Crawling!

C&K*s Mommie replied: Just remember all kids develop and acheive milestones at different stages. If he is far and beyond out of the milestone range (say he is 15mos and still cannot crawl) then you may be concerned. But all kids are different, he is a well developing child and is doing things in his own time. WTG Ashton!
Ours never did crawl, really. Just took off walking and seemingly running one day.

I'm a little sad and nervous about him crawling, and growing up, it's bittersweet...

I think he is fine. Andrea crawled around 7 months, and girls usually do things a little bit before boys. My son didn't crawl until almost 9 months but walked before Andrea did. So I am not sure how accurate that is.

I will mention something - Andrea crawled in reverse for the longest time. Same with walking. She would back up instead of go forward.

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Aww, he's growing so fast! I have a hard time remembering exactly when it was, but Andrew didn't crawl until he was 8 or 9 months old, and then started walking at 11 months.

My friend's baby boy did the same thing, he would get so confused and crawl back instead of front, and he never really got anywhere until about 10 months...

ZandersMama replied: Zan was about 9 months when he crawled, took his first step at 10, fell and split his eye open and didn't walk again till 14 months no worries, they do it all at differant ages. WTG Ash! You are going to be soooooo busy chasing him now! <baby gates>
