Lisa

A&A'smommy replied: baby oil and then scrape it off Alyssa had it bad too and that helped.. or you can use a comb I used my fingernails

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Jennifer told me to use baby oil before his bath then comb it out and to put baby lotion on his head. I keep forgetting to use the baby oil but the lotion seems to be helping, that and I started using burt's bees baby shampoo instead of my baby magic stuff - I think it's gentler and more moisturizing. wink.gif

amynicole21 replied: Yep, baby oil. Also, olive oil works and has some magic anti cradle cap stuff in it blink.gif

angelhair replied: someone told me that a tiny tiny bit of selson blue shampoo works. never tried it so I do not know love dee

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Warm baby oil and a baby comb. Let the oil soak in and rub away with the comb. Warning though...Wil lost a lot of hair from it, but it was about the time they lose their hair anyway. It all grows back!

Jamison'smama replied: Oil never worked on Jack---tried that route for awhile. Selson Blue worked after the second application---just a tiny bit and keep it out of their eyes.

lisar replied: Thanks everyone I will try the baby oil tonight and then if that dont work then I will try the selsun blue. It isnt bad at all I just want it to go away before it does get bad.

Tiffanyrk1786 replied: I just put her in my lap and scrape it little by little and its almost gone now. When she starts fussing, I stop... and start again later. I dont use oil or anything.. just my fingernails. Then at night, I wash all the little pieces of it that I scraped up out of her hair.

coasterqueen replied:
This is what I've done. I don't do it often. I just assumed it would go away eventually. It does right?

Kaitlin'smom replied: Kait had a mild case never used baby oil, in fact my sister said a tiny bit of J&J baby shampoo works better, rub into scalp and then a comb or finger nail to scrape it off a ltttle at a time.

CantWait replied: Robbie had it really bad for quite some time. It does eventually go away though.

lesliesmom replied: When I used to bathe my kids I would apply the shampoo to a soft brush and wash their hair with the brush. Kept the cradle cap to a minimum. And, although I never tried it, I've heard using a bit of toothpaste and a toothbrush works too.

~KARA~ replied: Kaden had it pretty bad so the Dr told me to ge this stuff called "cradle cap treatment" by Gentle naturals.
I put it on him and like 5 min later it looked like we had both been snowed on!

My2Beauties replied: I always heard the Baby Oil thing but that didn't work for Hanna, I tried the Selsun Blue and some other stuff too - oh yeah neutrogena T-Zone - (they stink so bad, smell like dog flea shampoo or something) and they didn't work neither, so when I washed her hair I just scrubbed her scalp with my nails and it eventually just went away after a couple weeks - nothing worked on my poor baby!
