Cowgirls...I need your help

Pictures or links would be very helpful.
boyohboyohboy replied: i dont know about clothes but i just got a great pair of boots at famous footwear.....they have great shoes, and great prices..
can you type something in the search engine about jean skirts or do you want dress or jeans?
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I like this skirt http://www.sheplers.com/item.cfm?DI=367767...ory&ITEMSTART=1 and it's a really good price.
I don't really like to wear my shirts tucked in, though. What shirt would I wear with it? I was hoping to just get a white shirt (untucked) with a big belt, some big jewelry and I'm gonna have to buy some boots.
Or do you think jeans and boots?
boyohboyohboy replied: i LOVE that skirt and the boots in the pic and this shirt from the site, you wouldnt have to tuck it in, and its cheap...

and the shirt comes in white if you prefer, although i think the brown is nice for fall.... and the belt thats on the skirt too..
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I do like that shirt.
We have a Sheplers pretty near by. I think I will go up there and try some things on.
I still could use some recommendations, though. I have no idea what's "in" in the world of boots and fashion attire.
boyohboyohboy replied: i think that pic is great, and i bet the sales reps can help you at the store.. also have you considered a bandana around your neck tied off to the side? i checked the hats there, they are rather pricey, and i checked the website for free shipping or any deals and didnt find any... i use the discountcodes.com and sometimes each store has good sales and deals but none today.. i also checked target for a hat, but they were cheesey...
do you have another place that sells hats?
or how far do you want to go with this, is it a one time deal or will you go each yr?
CantWait replied: I LOVE THE SKIRT AND THE SHIRT...... I suck at this, so that's all I'll say.
luvmykids replied: I love that skirt, it would be really cute with a white button down untucked with a great belt Or if you go with jeans you could do the same thing, cowgirls have come a long way in fashion One of my best friends is as true a cowgirl as you could be and also one of the hippest dressing girls I know. Her "standard" is jeans, boots, and a hip shirt (anything from a wifebeater tank with a giant turquoise necklace to a peasant blouse) and belt Actually, she looks straight from the junk gypsy website I shared a while back, if that gives you an image. HTH. You'll look great no matter what!
lisar replied: You need a cowgirl hat, some jeans, some ropers (there shoes), and a cowgirl shirt. That would be perfect. Its what I would wear anyways. Mainly cause I dont wear skirts.
TANNER'S MOM replied: Well it being something you aren't gonna wear all the time I would go with something you would wear again. You would wear the skirt then get it. I say get you are fake rhinestone belt.. they are way in.. the real ones but they are expensive if you dont' wear them again. For boots you will want something high on your calves if you are gonna wear a skirt. I love the white shirt.. I would do a sexy cami underneath and leave it unbottoned. You don't need a hat.. I don't wear a hat unless I am riding .. to keep the sun off my head or b/c you have to in the arena.
Boots and Jeans are what I wear.. but thats because thats what I wear. You don't wear a skirt horse back. If you want some great jeans.. try the Cruel Girls.. or the 20x... low rise boot cut.. I love them. I also like the Aura's but htey are stretchy and tend to loose the shape by the end of the day. My friend who has a bigger butt then me loves them though.
For Boots go for comfort.. when you are dancing you dont' want to be in pain.
Oh the big cross necklaces are in around here. I have a turqouise one and a rhinestone one and I love it. I just found mine at the cheap $1.00 jewerly lots.. I love them.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I decided not to splurge on cowboy boots. The only ones I liked were $150 and they were shorter. I just don't see me wearing them real often. I bought that short denim skirt today, but after getting it home I decided I wasn't crazy about it b/c I don't like the pockets or the belt loops. I'd rather have something that is flat and zips on the sides if I'm wearing a shirt untucked. SO, I found a long denim skirt that is made by Liz Claiborne. It was way more expensive, but it's perfect with my brown boots that I already own (and are so comfortable). I paired it with a brown velvet jacket that I got at Kohl's. Again, it wasn't cheap. I did buy a cami to wear under the jacket..it's kind of lacy, but I need more umph b/c I'm so small chested. The cami just flattened it. I put my white button down shirt underneath it..unbuttoned it pretty low and I am going shopping for some BIG turquoise jewelry and a big belt tomorrow. The belt will just peek thru the bottom of the jacket. I think I made a good choice and it's definitely something I will wear again. I tried on so many things today at the western store and it just wasn't 'me'. kwim? I loved the Miss Me jeans, but they were too small and that just made me depressed.
Thanks for your help, Ladies. It was a LONG day. I wish you could have been here shopping WITH me.
CantWait replied: Take a pic, we'd love to see it.
