Could it be....

mummy2girls wrote: that jenna has an allergy to mushrooms? I have been thinking of the last mini stomach flu she had and this stomach flu was right after the fact that she had a mushroom soup golash thing. She ate it both tiomes and both times she vomits that night. What happened last time is she had the mushroom dinner, then in the morning on the way to daycare she vomits everywhere.. and then she is fine and doesnt throw up again. Last night for dinner she had the same thing and then that night she vomits the one time and thats it. She is fine again. I dont know f i should risk it and give it to her again and see her reaction or go see her ped...what do you think?

luvbug00 replied: I would take her. I think that puking twice is enough to cause a concern. I love that stuff my grandma made it for us!! Hope you find out what's up. Keep us posted. happy.gif

gr33n3y3z replied: she very well could be
ask her Dr about it and while your at it have him get her to get tested for allergies both food and air borne

Kirstenmumof3 replied: Hmmm that sounds like it could be. I would keep an eye on her and see what happens. Has she had allergy tests done?

mummy2girls replied:
no none... i just found it wierd that this happened both times..

A&A'smommy replied: Definitly ASK your ped!! I hope that is all it is!!

ammommy replied: HOw does she react to mushrooms in other dishes? I'm guessing that she may be sensitive to another ingredient in the goulash like the milk or one of the spices (or a combo of spices). It's worth a mention to the ped, though.

iluvmysweetiepies replied:
I agree. Next time you see your pedi I would bring the ingredients list from the soup. Is there anything that statnds out that isn't a ingredient in other things she normally eats? I know I react badly to a lot of msg. I hope you can figure it out soon.

ediep replied: I'd bring her into the doc, my ped said that one time vomit isn't a concern but if it happens more than once, then come in to the doc.

Just tellt he doc about the mushrooms and see what they say, they may suggest a test or they may say wait a while and try the mushroom again to see if thats it

mommy_loves_chase replied: awwwwww poor thing is there anything else that is in it that she might be alergic to?

A&A'smommy replied: Hey Shelly did you find anything out?

mummy2girls replied:
no not yet. Im at this point just going to keep away from mushrooms and mushroom soup untili can get her in to see her ped. I have a few days off next week so i will try to get her in then:)

kimberley replied: could it be MSG? all soups have MSG in it and James had a reaction to it until he was about 4yo. does she react to other canned foods like ravioli and stuff?

mummy2girls replied:
NOPE we had soup yesterday(chicken noodle) and tonight as well. and no reaction...
