Corey update
jcc64 wrote: Thanks again to all my friends here who have been so supportive and kind. She's still not eating, and her little ribs are sticking out. But today, for the 1st time in almost a week, she has gotten out of bed and showed just the slightest bit of interest in playing. She stayed awake all morning (also an improvement), and I think I sense just the beginning of a turn-around. From all accounts, this virus hangs around for a LONG time, but any step in the right direction is encouraging. Again, thanks for your interest and concern, and by all means, WASH YOUR KIDS HANDS wherever they go!

coasterqueen replied: ((HUGS)) Jeanne. I'm glad she's doing better. I just sure hope she continues to get better and QUICK!!!
My other friend's DD is doing about the same as Corey. It's scary, for sure. My p&pts continue to go out to you.
DansMom replied: Any progress is encouraging---it is so scary when she is so tiny.
BTW, Daniel is just starting to recover from something similar but less severe. We were scared---persistent vomiting, no appetite, weight loss from 25 to 23 pounds. This went on for 5 days, and now he has diarrhea but is showing more energy and moderate interest in food. It sounds like what hit Corey is a lot worse, since Daniel did have some days where he perked up and ate a bit before relapsing. I just know that feeling that my kid just cannot get any smaller than he already is DH and I were crying together two nights ago---I can identify with your stress level completely!
mommy2owen replied: Glad to hear she's doing better!
CCTandME replied: Well that's good news. Hopefully over the next few days she will be back to herself.
