Our Lil' Family replied: I tried to put myself of a schedule of two things a day, but that didn't work!
I pick up toys and odds and ends and straighten up every night before bed and do things as I see they need to be done mainly. I sweep pretty often, and laundry is almost a daily thing. I HATE mopping so I do that oh once a month I guess (I can't believe I just admitted that). Every now and then I get a cleaning bug up my butt (like today) and I clean from top to bottom but other than that I just do a little here and there.
zdk753 replied: Normally I just pick up stuff here & there throughout the day & do my laundry all day, but I don't do any real cleaning until my kids go to bed. There is no point in doing it when they are awake.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: My Cleaning Schedule:
Sit around thinking I should really clean something.
Decide that I should probably clean the kitchen.
Put a load of laundry in the washer instead.
Decide that that was enough for awhile and it's time for a break.
Put the clothes in the dryer when the washer buzzes, if there are already clothes in the washer, put them in a basket and drag it out to the living room with every intention of folding them.
Quickly check email first... and end up spending an hour on PC.
Baby wakes up so I have an excuse not do do anymore cleaning.
Sweep living room floor so I can put a blanket down for the baby to play on.
Time to make dinner - hastily throw dishes into the dishwasher to make room to work.
After dinner, bring dishes into kitchen and put them in dishwasher.
Sit on couch and tell myself that tomorrow I'm really gonna clean.
Ok so I don't have a schedule but I am seriously considering making one!
punkeemunkee'smom replied: I am really anal-OMG no pun intended-about the bathrooms! So I clean them everyother day at least,do the dishes and kitchen counters everyday of course,a load of laundry a day, vaccum at least everyother day, toys 250x a day I have major issues with smells and germs so everything has to be antibacterial and smell good guess it is not a bad thing to be crazy about! I clean alot at night because most of my day is spent playing with Tay or we are doing school or like right now when she is doing art time, I chat with you guys!

5littleladies replied: I get up, spend a bit of time on the computer and then
Clean up the kitchen Clean up the L.R. Clean up the D.R. Pick up the bathroom-scrub if it needs it Throw a load of laundry in there somewhere if I think if it. Holler at the kids to clean their rooms (I'm actually usually doing this the whole time that I'm cleaning )
That's my basic daily schedule. Then I do other things that need to be done-and there are usually alot and I don't always feel like doing them and regardless of WHAT I do the house always seems like it's a mess. Right now it is out of control because I'm just too BIG to feel like doing much.
~KARA~ replied: I clean every other day! and do laundry every other day. It takes like 15 steps to walk from the front of my house to the back of it!
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: this sounds shockingly like my cleaning schedule except I don't throw a blanket out for the kids and somewhhere in there I complain to dh that I hate the mess
Mommy2BAK replied: Sara, you crack me up!! That sounds all to familiar!
My2Beauties replied: What is cleaning?
kayla's mama replied: Sara, your schedule is very similar to mine. I get after DH for not helping me, but I'm home all day
