What is on top of your tree? A star (we alternate between the lighted star and our agnel every year)
White or Color lights? Color
Where is your tree located in your home? Living Room

Types of Ornaments- mostly handmade but plenty of special "bought" ones. I was involved in a handmade ornament exchange for 25 years.
What is on top of your tree? A star. I prefer an angel but when we remodeled and added the room the tree is in, it sits in front of a large triangular window. A star is a much better fit.
White or Color lights? Color. Over 2,000 of them
Where is your tree located in your home? in our family room addition.

It's beautiful though! 
Ours isn't up yet because we're getting a new one (fake) this year. I haven't found one I like yet. But, I will be sure to come back when it's up.

Types of Ornaments- DH only likes white and silver. So we have a lot of silver balls and white balls, stars, crystal looking things.
What is on top of your tree? We have an angel dressed in all white.

Where is your tree located in your home? Living room, not far from the fireplace.
I don't have a picture. We will get ours this weekend.

CantWait replied: Well we don't have our tree yet this year, we get a real one every year. I'm not even sure I'll even bother to be honest, money is tight and I'd rather get the kids presents finished, but I'll play for our tree last year.

Types of Ornaments- Homemade looking stuff, some glass balls (green and red), red twirlie things.
What is on top of your tree? A Star, it's really ugly, but it was the star we bought for our first Christmas together as a family. We didn't have a lot of money back then so we bought the cheapest thing possible.
White or Color lights? White led lights, they look more like a white blue though, next year when I have more money, I will replace them with golden white.
Where is your tree located in your home? Upstairs Living Room

Types of Ornaments- On Tree #1 hallmark, family type ornaments. On Tree #2 - Star Trek!
What is on top of your tree? Tree #1 - blown glass santa (he "sits on top of the tree). Tree #2 - a star with a mouse on it (DH's oldest daughter's petname is mousey so it's our nod to her).
White or Color lights? Color and lots of lights - 1400 lights on Tree #1; probably 700 on tree #2
Where is your tree located in your home? Tree #1 in Family room; Tree #2 on an end table in the dining room.

How tall? probably around 6 ft or so
Types of Ornaments- a couple resin ones I bought (shaped like guitars  ), some glass bulbs, some old ones from his childhood. (Mine were left at the old house when my mom moved  and I'm too chicken to ask the new owners if they're still in the attic), a couple others
What is on top of your tree? I think an angel, but honestly can't remember 
White or Color lights? Colored (and lots of them)
Where is your tree located in your home? I'm thinking the living room...although I'm not sure yet.
It's not up yet (or cut!) but I'll post when we get it
