Childhood memories - what was the one toy you wanted

I wanted the Barbie Holiday Mansion...the one with the lights in it....I never did get that sucker. I grew up in a family of 6 kids...so it wasn't possible $$ wise.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: I wanted a pony. Does that count?
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I wanted that doll that looks like a newborn and is anatomically correct. It was pretty expensive back then.
Brianne...I never had a Barbie mansion, either. But, I have one now! It plays music, too. I'll have that doll one day, too. That's the joy in having a little girl.
My3LilMonkeys replied: A dollhouse. A nice, well made, wooden dollhouse - the kind that's more for show than playing with, KWIM? I will have one someday though - when the girls are a little older.
luvmykids replied: A cabbage patch doll. I still don't know why no one would ever buy me one! I guess I remember them being more expensive back then than they are now.
C&K*s Mommie replied: I think I am the outcast here. I either do not remember wanting anything, or I never really wanted anything. My memory is awful- but I cannot really think of anything. Though we certainly were not rich, and I did not have everything.
A&A'smommy replied: I'm the same way Nicole I cannot think I of anything that I wanted and didn't have.. there was something I'm sure.. unless I really didn't want a lot
mckayleesmom replied: Mckaylee has one of those....Its not finished yet...Im putting it together myself. You can buy the kits, but it can get extremely pricey. So far that dollhouse is worth about 500 dollars and it doesn't have the furniture yet. I still have to put the roof and shingles on too.
MamaJAM replied: LOL
I know there were things growing up that I wanted but never got...but - I honestly can't remember what any of them were. Obviously - I survived without them.
Insanemomof3 replied: I wanted one of those newborn dolls too!!!! But I never really got anything I wanted since my family was pretty poor.
zdk753 replied: The only thing I ever really wanted was a doll house.
dolfinrse replied: I always wanted Barbie Dream Pool. I still remember as a kid in the toy store crying because my mom wouldn't buy it for me.
