Changing Tables - Do you use one
Kaitlin'smom wrote: I still use ours, I could not live with out it. The few times I had to change Kaitlin with out one oy what fun....she ran all over the place! its kinda funny now but was not then! I know someday I will have to give it up, but not till she outgrows it!
kit_kats_mom replied: We still use Katherine's changing table upstairs. She loves the thing. We just use the floor if we are downstairs though. She's fine either way.
Our changing table is more of a dresser with a changing pad on top. :-)
booey2 replied: We used a dresser that what the exact height I needed for both boys and we only stopped using it with Thomas around January and now we change him anywhere. But if I were to put him on the dresser now he would sit still and be changed both boys were like that.
jcc64 replied: We do, although she's almost too long for it. The storage underneath is vital, though, and we'll probably end up using it long after she no longer fits on the top.
coasterqueen replied: I voted Not Anymore. We put Kylie's away a few months ago, because she was getting WAY to heavy for that thing and I wanted it to last through baby #2. ROFL.
We got rid of it when we bought her a bedroom outfit. So now I use her bed to change her. It's just at the right height for me to change her.
alice&arik replied: I had one for Arik when he was a baby, but never used it. Maybe once or twice. Just never felt right. I just used the couch or floor. But if I have another someday, I would definitely use one.
kimberley replied: we still use ours. though i do sometimes change her on the couch.
A&A'smommy replied: I have one but I don't use it!
Kirstenmumof3 replied: I had one with all 3 of my children and used it all the time with the older 2. But now that we have a 2 story house, it's hard to go up and down the stairs. Our change table for Claudia had the bathtub where you would lift up the change pad part and the bathtub was underneath, so that is pretty much all I used it for. Plus with Claudia sharing a room with her sister, there wasn't enough room for it.
ediep replied: I still use Jasons. It is a dresser with a changing pad on top. I find it easier than the floor, when we have to hange him on the floor, he just runs away
chloe&tysmommy replied: I voted Not anymore. I did use it when she was smaller but now we just use the couch or the floor. The changing table is still in her room but now it's used for storing all of her stuffed animals
jen replied: i voted no. We have one and have never used it! LOL! it is for the pack n play and the changing table attachment sits behind her dresser!! I love the bassinet part of the pack n play though for in the living room and the play pen area of the pack n play holds diapers and wipes for the living room so we don't have to go to the other rooms to get stuff to change her.
MomToJade&Jordan replied: I voted not anymore. Jade has just gotten too big for it. I usually just change her on the floor. It's basically a dresser with a changing pad on top and it does in fact convert to one. So I just keep stuff on top.
paradisemommy replied: not here. we did use it for his first year then he would just climb it and jump on it so i moved it downstairs and now it's just gathering dust..lol
MommyToAshley replied: I still use Ashley's -- she actually ended up with two. I use the one that is a dresser/changing table combo in her room for changing her. She is getting a little long for it though so we might not be able to use it much longer. It's just easier because I don't have to bend down to change her and all of her stuff is right there.
The stand alone changing table is used for her toys in the upstairs playroom. Crates with toys fit it on it nicely.
MomToMany replied: Nope, never used one. The floor or the couch works just as good for me.
MylittlePaige replied: Still using ours and loving it! Ours has 2 shelves with baskets all the way across though so the storage is perfect for our tiny condo. Also ours is in the bathroom which makes it easier to use to dress her and get her ready every day. Now if I could just figure out how to get the baskets to stay in without Paige emptying them 3 times a day Alli and Paige
