Car trip question again.

CantWait wrote: Anything else I should bring besides snacks, drinks, toys, games, colouring, mini fans, hats, sunscreen, that I should pack with the kids in the back seat.

CantWait replied: Forgot to add, Robbie is always bring his pillow. And I got a blanket for Anthony which he can share with Robbie, and a stuffie for each of them.

mummy2girls replied: i didnt rwad the other responses so im sorry if i repeat myself... do you have walkman or cd player?

C&K*s Mommie replied: DVD player for the car

CantWait replied:
cd player in the car.

Yes we have that also, and we got new movies for them to watch also.

Ashlynn's Mommy replied: Wow, I think you have it covered. wavey.gif rolling_smile.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied: How bout some wipes or wetnaps? Snack make for sticky fingers sometimes... wink.gif A wet facecloth in a plastic baggie is great for cooling off too.

Are you driving alone, or will you and Ron both be taking turns? Then you can take turns reading books or telling stories

We LIVE off our kid music in the car. I don't think we've taken a car trip without our Silly Songs cds on repeat.

coasterqueen replied: I bring wet wipes (to clean up faces, hands, etc), dust buster to clean up crumbs, etc, kleenex, sippy cups and beverages for the kids, a trash bag, etc.

Otherwise i thnk you have it covered. thumb.gif

C&K*s Mommie replied: If it is an extended trip, maybe stories on tape. They passed time for me when we took an 8hr trip to TN before. smile.gif

redchief replied: Earplugs. happy.gif

CantWait replied:
laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif I'm so glad I wasn't eating when I read that comment. Thanks for the laugh Ed, as usual. rolling_smile.gif

CantWait replied:
Wipes, that's a good one.

And Ron and I will be taking turns, i think. I'm not the greatest with direction so even if I am driving he's going to be the map reader. When he drives, I just sit and look pretty rolling_smile.gif

PrairieMom replied: DO NOT FORGET any lovies they might have. We made it 6 hours into our 12 hour trip before remembering that we forgot The Boy's Teddy Bear at home! ohmy.gif what a disaster. rolleyes.gif

CantWait replied: check thumb.gif

holley79 replied: thumb.gif Sounds like you have it covered. Just be safe. hug.gif

CantWait replied:
Thank you hug.gif
