Surely the ER has a gyno on staff, right? I agree, get there and see if they can't get it done for you.

I'm really in a small area There is one on call doctor at the ER most of the time, sometimes there isnt even a doctor on call. there are notices put in the paper listing the hours there wont be a doctor in. to see a gyno you have to be referred. If i was to go to the er, i would be givin something for pain and sent home to wait to hear from the gyno. It has been 6 or 7 weeks now that this thing has been in me and noone is in any rush to get it out . I'm so sick of this.

luvmykids replied: I would start raising some heck then, it can't be good as long as it's been there. I don't know who is next on the chain of command but I"d be throwing a full blown fit.

Hillbilly Housewife replied: I would be seriously ticked. I don't do well with incompetence, and I'd have been insisting she read the report AGAIN, while I wait. I mean... WHY would you be there to have it removed if the appointment wasn't booked? duuuuhhh...go canada.
